Word of advice that can save you a good 20-30 hours since gen 7 has the gen 5 exp formula of higher level than the opponent = less exp. SOS grind for a Salamence. Do it. Don’t suffer anymore than you have to

I remember sharing that fact with all my friends, justifying to them that “it makes sense that the contest judge would look at the Pokémon’s health,” since within the universe of Pokémon, they wouldn’t know about “max hp.” 😂

Wait, wasn't the story of Pokémon Gold and Silver the other way? I remember it being the problem that Game Freak was running out of space before they even got the full Johto region in during development, and Satoru Iwata himself rewrote the messy code manually, which freed up so much space that they managed to fit Kanto inside by taking after his method, but ran out of time to implement any significant events, up to and including the safari zone.
