3.02 ! new record with 17 seconds :D this time i could go 1 minute with contractions and it didnt "hurt" as much, i feel im getting more use to it now :)

WarmUp is also depending on your experience... I usually do it with static FRC after a general breath up and some stretching... first for 30sec (oftentimes the worst part)/ another time until my first contraction + 15sec / a third or forth time until 1:30 or 2:00min... brings you right into what you're looking for... the dive reflex! But of course... it's not the most relaxing thing to do before static. :)

completely agree. Different athletes do warm up (or no warm up) differently.

i think the FRC one helps with spleen contractions i remember that whenever did sessions in the swimming pool. i went to pee like 3-5times in just one hour but again, mb not exactly bc of spleen but could be part of the diving reflex

I catch fish by diving, and I fish at a depth of 30, and I want to reach a depth of 60. I am looking for a detailed training program, pranayama and diaphragm exercises, and breathing exercises (weekly program) that includes all exercises. Thank you for your efforts

Could you tell me if it is compulsory for the 2nd and 3d breath-hold to add time after the urge to breathe? If a diver is just a beginner and freaks out as soon as he\she has urge to breath and almost jumps out of the water?

No, it is optional, beginners can abrupt their dive as soon as they want :-)

@@jodecaesteker3971 in 99.99% cases main problem for beginners is a lack of relaxation. So, our focus to correct. With just improving this you can reach 2.30-3.00 without too much struggling
