I breastfed my oldest for 4.5 years too and stull breastfeeding my 3 year old. People seem to forget that we are mammals. Good job mama and congrats on your new baby!!

Just SO many similarities between us! I'm also in FL, my son was a homebirth in 2018, breastfed him for 3 years, very healthy vegan placenta! I also didn't feel called to encapsulate mine with the other health tools I had, I knew I'd be ok! You're doing amazing! Thanks so much for sharing so publicly. I used to blog for years so I miss this aspect of connecting with so many others and speaking about my day-to-day!!

I’m not even halfway through and I just really appreciate you sharing your story. I attempted a homebirth in December with our first and after a 70+ hour labor with no sleep and a series of chaotic events, I had to have an unplanned c-section, which I thought was going to break me. It’s been painful to watch natural birth videos and this is the first one that has made me excited to try again. I too had a blissful plant-based pregnancy and can’t wait to experience pregnancy again hopefully! Many blessings to you and your family during this precious time🌿

I just wanted to encourage you. My first birth was 56 hours long, no pain meds, ended up with a c-section due to posterior baby and baby went into distress (went to NICU). My second birth was a wonderful home water birth. There is always hope for each birth to be new and different in its own way 🎉👍🏾.

Thank you so much for sharing this! I throughly enjoyed this video/discussion currently 26 weeks pregnant with our 1st baby at 38 yo. We thought we could not have children… I went whole food plant based for medical reasons and lo and behold we’re pregnant with Gods answered prayers and blessings. I’ve lost 50 lbs whole food plant based but still have more to lose after baby is here have still lost weight though pregnancy thus far 18 lbs it’s crazy and Im eating all the time and ensuring to be get good Whole Foods. The birthing process def scares me so this was so helpful hearing your birth story and this video as well because many people do make it seem so scary Thank yall for all you guys share :)

@eatmoverest, Erin, I think it is great how Max and Liv have been so present in your birth, how relaxed they were with seeing the placenta and how life is embraced by them. You have created such a healthy, natural lifestyle and atmosphere for them and that is going to be such a blessing to all of you now and in the years to come! Keep it up, mama and daddy!

I have been following the channel since the beginning, and I have been escatic about about each of your births! I am so happy for you and Dusty!! This is such an exciting time!! I love all birthing info and Q&A; as a 33 yr old vegan, whom may or may not have kids (depending on God's plan), i appreciate your info and advice! I just think it's soo cool how you speak so openly about your experience, this is so beautiful and natural. You are a phenomenal mother👏, and I have learned so much through your candidness. Congratulations again, on another beautiful addition to the wonderful Stanczyk family!!!! Sending love, prayers, and all the good vibes and best wishes! Hope you have a fantastic Mother's Day!!😊🥰❤️

Such truth and thank you for sharing all this Erin, because Mamas need to know these things (thankfully I knew it all and lived it out, PTL!) 👏 And yes isn’t that asinine how they label if you’re 35 having a baby as high risk! Golly.

Thanks for sharing! I wish I had beautiful, educated people like you sharing their stories 30 years ago when I had my children. I was a nervous 1st-time mom and listened to the wrong advice. Therefore, I was only able to breastfeed for about three months. I read everything I could and ended up breastfeeding my second for three and a half years. ( my second has asthma but she did not have her first asthma attack until after she stopped nursing). I commend you and I feel that you are setting a great example for new moms. Congratulations on the birth of your new baby! I look forward to your upcoming videos.

I just want to say thank you so much for sharing this journey and your lifestyle as a whole… I’m also pregnant with my 3rd child, whole food plant based, moved to FL 3 years ago, and this will be my first home birth 😄 I’ve learned just in the past 7 months of this pregnancy that there is SO much stigma surrounding a vegan pregnancy, home birth, even co sleeping (also planning on co sleeping for the first time). It’s unfortunate that mothers are shamed for intuitively being exactly who they were created to be for their children. So thank you both for sharing your experience with this pregnancy, it’s been really encouraging to me 🙏🏻

Relaxing post partum was so hard for me. I am so used to being active, and I know you are very active. I am proud of you for embracing these 40 days of slowness and bonding. Loved hearing the baby sounds. My little one just turned three and stopped wanting to breast feed a couple months ago 😢 Congrats to you and your quintet ❤

Every Mama needs to at least try and for a while. I breastfed till 2 years 7 months and then 2 years and 9 months ❤🤱 LOVE you went that long with Max, go Mama!!! Also I had both water home births 💦 best thing ever! Then back in our own cozy bed and sheets after. ☺️ love our stories my sister in Christ 🤍

I am old--but I received NO SUPPORT for breastfeeding from my family. My daughter cried alot and my Mom kept very judgy Give her a bottle...your starving her...I continued because I felt so strong about it....however I got infections so she only had 10 months.
@AGuilloryGirl7 ай бұрын
@devikaforeen7209, I am so sorry that you went through that! Now you have that chance to break that cycle. You can encourage your daughter to embrace all that is natural and good. My mom and my sister did not breastfeed. To them it felt unnatural, I think, but to me, it was totally natural. I did not get to nurse my first for very long at all but at least I got her off to a good start. The second baby nursed for 2 1/2 years and has been my healthiest child and my third did not nurse for long either. It doesn’t always work out how we want it to and that’s ok. But keep doing what you want to do!
