Very well said! As a current Google employee, I can attest that even a job at Google is still JUST a job - no matter what you end up doing, wherever it is, you gotta be sure it's something that you really, deeply love, that will make you excited and look forward to doing the work, instead of miserable that you need to drag your butt to work every morning. :)

I can't even find one internship that gives you a dollar to work there. Google pays you hourly and for everything else you need!
@TonyMon168 жыл бұрын
Ye and she still left it ... Google were desperate to get woman in to coding so it wont look sexist and can be cool... ye looks like they cant even pay MOST woman to learn coding...i would have taken her internship and i would still be there being the best damn coder they had.. but nah i dont have the right name or genitals. Someone like me would have to ace their tests, 100% and have a proven track record already. She got it handed to her even after failing most of the interview process. Very unfair.

yes the world is out to get educated males, this chick should check her privilege. I'm sure she was not qualified at all, and yet she had a vagina. Poor men everywhere are losing their jobs to incompetent women, and minorities, ugh! The humanity!
@alexhadfield98058 жыл бұрын
Antonio Aguilar Actually it is. It may be basic, but everyone has to start somewhere. It may be basic coding, but it is still coding.
@TonyMon168 жыл бұрын
+fanny pinka, Here we have it guys the ugly truth ,feminism is not for equality, they simply hate men and want everything handed to them for free. They could give a fuck about anyone else. Quite simply that opportunity could have gone to someone else more deserving and loyal. But no, your emotions are more important...this is why usa will no longer be a super power in 20 years time and china/India/middle east will crush you. Have fun for now , but once strength of the dollar falls down to pitiful levels you will see how stupid you been and then it will be " OH MEN SAVE US!!!", but by then all the men will be weak, super emotional pansies who never fired a gin in their lives.

You just said it all with the fulfilling part. I just went though a similar experience. I was working in France and the paycheck was great, I had money for all that I needed and it was fantastic going shopping without looking at the bill. Needless to say I didn't make any savings, but it was great. But it was like you said, if the job is not what you love, if you don't feel great doing it, it's not enough. So I fired myself, I took the chance of getting back out there. It was a challenge, I hate interviews and I don't have confidence in myself. But now, I found a new job, I do what I love in an amazing environment, it's fantastic. I make a bit less at the end of the month but not dreading the week and not feeling that I want to rush home so I don't have to deal with the job anymore, it's fantastic and I really don't mind loosing a few bucks. If you do what you love, in a nice place where you can be comfortable, that is all that you need
