Trackmania Nations Forever has a notoriously frustrating track called D14 Endurance. For the last 3 years, I've been drawn to the track and competed to hold the world record. Because despite the frustration, when you finally get a great run - it's well worth the effort.

I remember being quite pissed about the cut, I lowered my time to a 2:37:74 without cutting, but it wasn't enough at the end of the day. In the last years my vision about shortcuts changed quite a bit. I now see how much dedication, time and sometimes luck it takes to get it perfectly, in this case 3 times in a row on an incredibly nerve racking map.
