Hi Aaron: as you know, I am following this program, and wanted to thank you for putting out this longer form video about it. Like you, I started this after an over-indulgent (but very enjoyable) holiday where I'd put on a bit of weight and wanted to get back to where I was as quickly as I could before my new weight became my "new norm". Also like you, and much to my surprise, I lost 3 kilos in 48 hours doing the kickstarter water fast up-front. I was pretty shocked that that was even possible. I thought a kilo would be good. I am now just starting day 7 of the 30-day program. I have put back on 1 kilo post water-fast, but seem to have stabilised at around a 2 kilo loss right now. For 1 week, I am very chuffed with this. If I end the 30 days back to the 3 kilo loss, I will be very happy - and better off than before I headed off on holiday a couple of weeks ago. Then, I guess we see where I end up when I return to my normal diet (which, honestly, is not too different to what you term the elimination diet phase of this program, perhaps with some rye bread and 100% dark chocolat added back in the mix, but not too much more). What is great about all this (if it works out after the 30 days) is that I know I can just relax and enjoy myself whilst on holiday, knowing I can pretty much get back to normal with just a 48 hour fast when I get back, plus maybe a little moderation of a couple of other usual items in my diet for 4 weeks after that. Brilliant! That's the long form post, but, in short, what I am trying to say is - thanks, mate. Appreciate this. 🙏😃🙌

Im so stoked to hear you are getting the good results Simon. Very excited to hear how things go towards the end of the 30 days! Keep me posted. I appreciate you putting it all into action and for letting me know!

5kg in 30 days is not a crazy amount. Just by being in a deficit, you’ll lose like 2kg rather quick from just water weight and such. I lost 6kg in 3 weeks of my last mini cut

1kg seems to be the recommended max weight loss generally for most people. I'm 5'4 and currently about 147lbs at 29. And from caliper measurements and calculations, I currently come out to 22.8% bodyfat. I'd really love to shred and get to 15% as soon as possible, but in a healthy way. So... Is this really healthy?
@MrBombaclout10 ай бұрын
@@Panic_ yes, you can lose 1kg a week and it’d be totally healthy as long as you make sure to get in the proper nutrients and fats in your diet. The way you go about being in a defecit is to eat more nutrient dense foods that are low in calories - not by reducing the volume of food. Increased activity can also help you as you’re allowed to eat more and still be in a deficit. If you work out ar the gym, make sure to eat enough protein as well

Nice vid with sound advice. I did this kind of cut about 6 years ago, sugar and wheat went. But was also vegan AND calorie counted to 1800 per day and over 3 months or more. Got really ripped but went too far and my energy/power dropped and i looked really skinny in clothes (but muscled/veined without), so let the weight increase again to maybe 12% body fat. I assumed Tasmania was just cold and sheep land, apparently not!

4 weeks is a good amount of time to reset habits and then shifting back to the moderation 80/20 rule feels like a good formula for dropping some weight then maintaining. I light the idea of these short challenges a few times a year. Good for body and mind but agree, going strict for too long can have net negative results so it's all about finding balance. Tazzy shocked me too, it looked tropical in some parts!

@@sviatoslavnovosiadlyi611 I definitely put weight on much quicker now I'm my forties than i did in my twenties or thirties. It can take longer now to recover from workouts too, but the good news is you get smarter and don't make the same mistakes as you get older!

bu kadar abartman çok komik sadece vücundan biraz su gitmiş ve biraz yağ kaybetmişsin. Eğer birgün bir ayda 10 kilo verirsen paylaş

What do you mean? I don't want to lose 10kgs, my personal goal was to lose 5kg and this protocol did exactly that and I've sustained that loss since. Sure you could lose more if you wanted to stay strict for longer, but I'm happy to be back to a relaxed 80/20 rule for maintenance again. It's great to see my second row of abs again too! Thanks for watching!
