Hey Kyonna, I finally talked to a recruiter this week! Took the PiCAT and got an 94 for my ST score. He mentioned that there were no slots for 68x and tried to convinced me to choose a different mos ( I said no lol ). Would you recommend waiting around for an open slot and did you had a different experience with your recruiter?

Hey Bryan! I’m so glad you chose to ask me this. Definitely WAIT!! I’ve met and spoken with many other 68x’s that were fed the same false statement! I was told it was no way I was going to get it, ended up picking another job.. but right before I swore in the liaison called the Rock once more and was able to get the job for me. 68x might not be a high quota job like 88M’s and 68W’s so the recruiters probaly aren’t interested in pushing it. But I guarantee if you tell your recruiter that you’re out ✌🏽 until you get the MOS you want, then 68X will magically appear 😂 trust me we need more 68X’s!!

I agree I dont want to just choose anything that's available. I want the jobs that I think I'll actually enjoy in and out of the Army. Last time my recruiter checked 88M and 35P were the available choices. I definitely dont want either of those. I'm ready to leave home but I'll just be patient

Any employee of the month is rigged. As a teacher you could do everything perfectly and they would give it to some other person for politics or they are somebody's wife or to cut someone else that actually wants it. I you are working hard but that also has something to do with it.

I am implying exactly what I said. Basically no matter how hard you try to do win the results may have being rewarded may be 100 percent out of the winners hands. It may be because and I'm using teaching to take you out of the equation. Let's say a teachers husband is a doctor or her husband is very valued member in community. Or her father is a banker and in control of giving the award giver a low interest loan. It could be that this teacher may of done nothing at all and another teacher RElALLY REALLY wanted the award and they were just being sick and rewarded a random individual to get back at them. Where do you think the phrase don't flatter yourself comes from when someone receives something they may not of actually won. Now you may of worked hard to get said award but you getting it may not have anything to do with getting said recognition. Much like rubbing a rabbits foot before buying a lottery ticket. .

@@danieljohnson411 you’re thinking way too hard. It’s not even that deep lol People go to the Soldier of the Month Board every month, it’s a custom. And somebody has to be a winner out of all competitors. Some people want to win because of how far you can go with it and eventually get to Soldier of the year. I highly doubt those E-8’s of the board give that much of fuck about choosing somebody based off some weird hidden reason. My board members never even seen me before lol
