Useful information on catching/Pokeballs: The reason you sometimes hear people say Greatballs are better than Ultraballs is that Greatballs are better for Pokemon at full, or near full HP. In every other circumstance, Ultraballs are better. You only need to knock a Pokemon down to 1/3 HP (or 1/2 HP for Greatballs) to have the full chance to catch. For legendaries, and other low catch rate Pokemon, Statuses are more important than damage: you have a higher chance of catching a Legendary with a status effect, at full health with a Pokeball, than you are to catch it at 1hp, with an Ultraball if it doesn't have a status effect. Level and stat changes do nothing, a level 1 with all it's stats dropped is just as easy (or hard) to catch as a level 100 with all it's stats maxed. If anyone is interested, I would be more than happy to go over how the system works in a way that is easy to understand... or at least easier to understand than trying to understand the Bulbapedia page.

I love these vids; thanks for going through the whole process for this one! I feel like GameFreak took pity on us with Gen 8, making a bunch of pokemon with convoluted evolution methods available as once-per-day encounters or changed to stone evolutions if you bother to go exploring the wild areas thoroughly, which is really nice. Didn't stop them from including SOME version exclusives and trade evolutions, but I was shocked to be able to catch a wild Alakazam, Gengar, Steelix, and also find Growlithe AND Vulpix all in one game, for once. I feel like it's something that only people who grew up with older gens will appreciate for the blessing it truly is xD So, I'm glad you're making these videos now, when there's an entire generation of people playing pokemon who hadn't even been born yet when this game came out.

I really like this idea for a video and I would really like to see you do it for later generations too! I watched all of your catch 'em alls and while I really enjoyed those videos too, the fact they were so abstract made them a little hard to follow sometimes. This format is easier to follow, but I also realize it takes a lot more time to record all the footage; that's probably why this format wouldn't have really worked for the catch 'em alls. The idea is good and the format is too! Looking forward to more of this type of stuff!

Not gonna lie, really loved this video format, it was really fun, and I really enjoyed seeing you catch all of the Pokémon. Would totally love a video like this for later games, too :D

Love your content, and glad you had fun with this. That said, I don't think this is better than any of your other series. However if going into other gens and doing this on the side helps prevent burnout, go for it. I still enjoyed it, but I don't think this actually covers that much more information than your original catch them all videos.

Your analytics for this Channel must be amazing to see. I’ve watched so many videos from start to completion, entertained the whole way through. I can imagine this is other viewers experience as well. Bravo. 🎊 🎉
