Watch the BBC first on iPlayer 👉 bbc.in/iPlayer-Home Pornography is illegal in South Korea, and molka has emerged as an illicit DIY alternative. The devastating impact of molka is revealed in the increasing number of molka-related suicides. Now, criminal gangs are starting to install cameras on an industrial scale, selling people’s most private moments as pornography for strangers to consume. The country’s advanced technology allows criminals to stream videos live and share them at lightning speeds.
Can those fighting molka stay ahead of this quickly evolving crime? And are the ingredients that have made molka an epidemic in South Korea a warning sign for a sex crime that could soon affect us here?

You guys all should know how serious this is at the moment in Korea. It's just a start, they're sharing this video and make it as a very big business. When victim contacts the p2p site owner to get rid of her videos, they charge the service fee, deleted them and release them again and again.. We have so many women who even can't go to the toilet outside. Any woman who visit Korea, Please just check women's public toilets in Korea have HOW MANY HOLES they have. The most outrageous part is that our judicial systems do not give these kinds of crimes proper punishment. Most are given a small amount of fine or probation. We are working on making new laws and all, but majority of our justice system(police and judicial) still don't think it's a big deal. Victims suffer from the lack of police's will to help and secondary victimization. Not to mention the endless reposting online.

Around 65 percent were porn and the rest were people taking shower and changing clothes. One video was disturbing. A tall guy dancing wearing a panty inside a room with a wierd facial expression and masturbates at a corner later. Then I realised that there is a market for this as the videos were taken from different places. One of the video was of a person I have physically seen and that video was the most shocking of all and I deleated that before my friend folded it

In the US you are constantly hearing about this turning up in changing rooms, bathrooms, etc. I even knew a single guy in his 50s whose female landlord had rigged up his place so she could watch him. He worked with the cops to catch her actively watching it, so there was no way she could avoid the charges. She got a few days in jail. Even in the US we don't treat these seriously enough. A guy with 89 counts got 2 years. The punishments don't become much until child pornography laws kick in.

Unless you're a "shut in," you're going to have to leave from time to time. That's 100% legal in the US if you're deemed a target, either through genuine investigation or error or grudge. A great many NSA employees and others have been caught using their access to spy on girlfriends and the like.

There are a lot of older people who would never ever wear a swimsuit because of age; I'm sure many of them would be mortified to find that they've been filmed. Modesty exists at any age, especially for women. I have many friends who have only been seen fully naked with the lights on by one or two men, regardless of how many bfs they've had.
