Buying a home in Canada has become an impossibility because there simply isn't enough housing at all. I mean people sleep in tents on the sidewalk in Canada. The only problem with that is the temperature in Canada is -20 below zero Celsius. People die on the streets of Canada every year from the cold. Some people even apply for Medically Assisted Death (MAID) because they can't find any housing in Canada. Better to die in a nice comfortable hospital bed then in a tent on the street from the very cold weather in Canada!

@@Archadzen it might sound crazy to you, but in San Francisco Bay area which in my opinion is the best place to live in America and I have traveled to 48 states and lived in 7 major metropolitan cities. Even in Bay area, elderlies are being beaten in streets, there are shootings at night, so much robberies and break-ins. Two years ago, I spent 2 months in Tehran, I can go out and walk at 11pm without being worry about getting mugged. I can drive to Ramsar for 3 hours and live in the most scenic ranch that you can't find any place in the world (closest thing would be in villages in Switzerland or in Tuscany). It will only cost you $17 a day. People are super friendly and very helpful and Iran has the best doctors on the world. I am not into drinking or clubbing so who cares about those things.

60% of buildings in Tehran can't withstand a 7.0 Earthquake. 30% cant stand a 5.0 Earthquake. The next massive quake will results in over 1 million deaths and become the most catastrophic urban disaster in human history. It's astonishing how people in Tehran are not more outraged by this statistic. The city is long over due for a large earthquake and there is nothing being done to mitigate the damage but reinforcing the buildings. During peak urbanization, Tehran had no regulations. Developers built apartments without any steel pillars. It's a scary place to live.

Nicely organised presentation. I really like the way you don't shill for the country nor feel the need to be constantly negative to score points with people abroad - it's very balanced and neutral, and refreshing. It would be interesting to learn about commuting and public transport if you haven't done that already. Also, do the different districts have separate councils with different companies contracted for public cleaning and the like, or does Tehran have one central administration for these matters?
