Two hours of snorkeling in the Vedder River results in a nice haul of salmon fishing gear. I see coho, chinook, and pink salmon along the way.

@petrhermanadventures95098 ай бұрын
@@saedmalkawi6865 I think Rodney is a good guy and perhaps I didn't word things properly in the video. I think all of the things he's promoted over the years catch fish. Got a coho on one of those yellow spoons first cast the other day.

That’s a nice haul. So many spoons, I’d be in heaven finding all of those. Haha

Yes, it's nice to have free gear. Mind you if I just went to work for an extra couple of hours I could afford to buy a bunch of stuff too. I enjoy the treasure hunting aspect of it I guess.

These snorkling videos are amazing. So cool to see what their cover looks like from under the surface.

I'm glad you enjoyed. Have been too busy fishing to do a lot this fall, but I filmed a couple more, just have to edit.

I always find it funny when people say not to throw what everyone else throws when chances are there are 3 of the exact same lures you throw sitting on bottom for every fish to swim by lol.
@petrhermanadventures95098 ай бұрын
Or dangling off the branches. I think the lure has to have action as well as appearance. A lure on the bottom is just another rock to a fish.

@@alexusoski5478 just be careful. I draw on 25 years of whitewater kayaking experience and 10 years of river swimming. Start with slow water and make good choices. It's easy to become attached to the bottom with braided line.

How much weight is on your dive belt to keep from having to fight the buoyancy? I also like to clean out the rivers/streams I fish at. There just too much trash in our waters.
@petrhermanadventures95098 ай бұрын
That really depends on the suit. I like to have about 5 pounds of positive buoyancy so that It's no effort to stay on the surface. My 7mm suit takes about 18 pounds of weight.

Generally, how many of the hooks are barbless? What percent? KEN
@petrhermanadventures95098 ай бұрын
In this case about 10% were barbed, especially the jigs. The spoons were pretty much all barbless, except for one with a trebble.

do you ever get worried about getting hooked?
@petrhermanadventures95098 ай бұрын

He should be disclosing when he's sponsored to use/talk about gear. The recent video about the electric engine was for sure a paid ad
