"You don't need to spend 16 hours a day or even two hours a day fixing a false alarm. You can learn to not take that false alarm seriously." YES! And get back to whatever each of finds important in life :)

Glad you are back at the lake 😊 i listen to 1 daily video from you Dan . I soent so much time on healing in the past now i stopped. The more i spend on this TMS work the more messages i give to my brain that there is something wrong. I just live my life the best i can😊. I trust the process and keep teaching my brain that i am truly safe. Sending you much love Dan and to all of you here on KZbin 😘❤️🦸‍♀️💪🌷

I know from your previous videos that focus and attention is bad. But the more I try not to focus on symptoms the more I focus on them. So is focus ok as long as its not fearful and trying to get rid of symptoms. Because you can't ignore symptoms.

I wear it loosely now (as Nichole Sachs calls it). I front loaded a lot when I just started and found it useful to hammer home the message, but I do not do that anymore. Some days I do nothing. Some days I do more. I don't really have a structure to it. My non negotiables are your daily video and Nichole Sachs new episode on a Friday. Other than that I journal when I feel like I could benefit and I go to my therapy session fortnightly. When I have a colourful day I may relisten to a recovery story. 😊 but really it's all a very unplanned approach now.

😂 I love that you have air plane boy, chain saw boy, tractor boy around depending where you’re at to keep you company lol, it just cracks me up. Thanks for your videos! So good to have your reminder! ❤

This is what is working for me- consistently giving myself safety messsges but not focusing on my body, it’s a balance and it’s taken some time for me to get into a state where I am beginning to manage that balance. ❤ Like Dan says it’s generally does not happen in one day or even one month or more. Give yourself some grace and compassion as you learn to re train your thinking brain. It’s taken a long time to learn its current patterns of thinking it takes some time to re learn all that.

I think Dan it’s important to stop searching, to listen to your dailies and some clips u had which are great and that’s it. Problem is that people keep seeing other things on your tube and u never end. Also reassurance is very important for someone to stop seeking! That killed me and I stopped doing it and it helps

100% agree, its very easy to end up going down rabbit holes on youtube cause a video will pop up in recommended which in the moment i think might be helpful but really i hardly ever take in the information and it just become more noise. Trying to break this habit.

If you truly believe there's nothing wrong with you, do you need to spend any time healing? If you're healthy, no healing required, right? "Nothing's wrong with you, just go live your life." Isn't that what Dr. Sorno used to say? If you're spending any time healing each day, you still believe your symptoms are because something's wrong with you that needs to be healed.

Thank you for your wonderful work! My project is my sensitive nerve system. When I do "too much", it's just sending me shivers and an inner trembling. The only think that helps so far, is camping down in an active way: laying down, nsds-exercices, breathwork etc. Shorter interventions (messages of safety etc.) don't seem to be enough. What can you recommend?

That's a very negative thing to have on her channel. Without knowing the situation or context, I wouldn't let that bother you. I would suggest going through my fast start playlist and assessments to see if YOU can be helped by this work. DansFastStart.com Do the FIT assessment on this page: IsThisTMS.com

Any suggestions for how to Handel it if you have a combination of mind body issues and arthritis with damaged joints and sleep issus due to pain?
@PainFreeYou
@PainFreeYou 29 күн бұрын
Treat it all like mind body. Most people have arthritis and many of them without pain. There is little proof the arthritis is THE cause. Have you done the assessments to see which symptoms are TMS? IsThisTMS.com - answer the FIT questions on that page for the pain. If you answer one or more as True - then the pain is from mindbody, not the arthritis.

What if I’m not feeling totally safe due to relationship issues? No physical abuse or anything mostly verbal and emotional. I’m kinda stuck in the relationship due to financial issues 😢 Thank Dan for everything you do ❤

What lake is that? I'm from NJ, now in FL, wanting to move to the New Hope area, but it's expensive. Would love to be on a lake in PA or somewhere nearby with lower taxes than NJ. Thanks! Cat

I don't understand what to do. I just don't get it. My stress levels are through the roof. I've been cutt off by the benefits agency (I'm in the u.k) so I'm going to be homless in two weeks time. Yet, still my subconsious brain won't switch the symptoms off so I can surrive life on the steet and do somwthing about my predicament.. I guess it wants me dead. Sadly, it's about to get it's wish.

Scott - getting well is about recovering from FEAR. KNOWING you are not sick or broken. All of the "what to do" are explained in my fast start playlist. DansFastStart.com - watch it. Take notes. Implement. But it's not going to switch off overnight. You have years of a terrified brain. Saying I'm safe won't yield instant results. It take authentically feeling safe. Your brain does not want you dead. It is operating on misinformation and fear. Correct that misinformation to dial down the fear. DansFastStart.com
