Yeah, they have their ways of justifying everything. Believe me it is more beneficial for the poor. Saying that poor have other things to focus on is a hoax. Also, I did inner engineering, if you understand the basics of dhyana yog, you don't need it. The only problem is that our generation doesn't read and is allured by an English speaking baba, who isn't even physically present to initiate you. In person initiation is possible, but then you'll be in a crowd of 10000 people. What a farce!

What does the inner engineering program consists of? Is it about meditations and exercises? I just keep hearing about “it gives you tools to fix your life” and other abstract answers. Even when sadhguru was on Joe Rogan podcast, Joe kept asking again and again - “if I enroll in that program, what exactly do you guys teach”, but sadhguru kept answering in vague terms. Some description of course would be helpful, so I can decide whether to enroll or not.

Well, inner engineering is mostly lectures from Sadhguru and a couple of guided meditations that you can also see in his app. But during the Inner Engineering Completion that you do after you finish IE you learn how to do a basic introduction to spirituality meditation called Shambavi Mahamudra Kriya. Without doing that I think there's no way to enroll in any kind of more advanced spiritual course

He is vague in his responses, yes. Inner engineering is mostly about two things Shambhavi Maha Mudra, some exercises to help you relax and increase your capacity to sit cross legged for a longer period of time. Why increase the capacity to sit cross legged? Because in Indian Yog, the easiest way to calm yourself down and incorporate consciousness in your day to day life is by training your body in meditation. And the best way to train is by practicing it in a cross legged position. Is it worth the hype or the cost? Absolutely not. Does it help? Yes, but so does meditation in general. They also sell inner engineering as a stepping stone to other advanced form of Yoga. Well, this too can be debated.

Yes, its exercise & meditation plus some feel good philosophy Is it life changing ? No Does it give you bliss & ecstasy like isha followers say ? No I did it & nothing happened to me, shambhavi mahamudra is a basic yogic practice but I think their advanced practices like shoonya works. Try kriya yoga of maha avatar babaji, Read autobiography of a yogi. IT works for all because it is a advanced practice by itself. Don't learn it from YSS of India, they have diluted Kriya yoga to make it less intense, Learn from Sri M or Kriya yoga masters international or Kriya Yoga ashram Rishikesh

Since when enlightenment can be sold like this. Sadguru is a fraud. No real Saint would ask for money like this. You work with whatever you have, if you've nothing then you work with nothing.
