In 2007, the Miami Dolphins had a chance to hire Mike Tomlin, now one of the greatest NFL coaches of all time. Instead, they passed on him for Cam Cameron, reportedly because Tomlin was considered “too hip hop.” This decision reshaped the NFL in ways no one could have predicted.

Like he gives an interview in this with his foot pulled up on his seat, and that's like all it takes for a racist to think a black man is hood. But to be fair to the racist, they're used to having employees with sticks up their asses, so Tomlin probably wasn't their guy. I understand that they are other NFL teams that are family owned, but no other family ran team is as successful as the Steelers. If these teams owned restaurants they all be out of business. It's only because the NFL is a money making machine that these other families are even successful. Lamar Hunt was huge in merging the NFL and AFL and after winning SB IV KC managed 9 playoff wins in 40 plus years. G. Halas, and P. Brown left their life work to their children and both teams share a hand full of success. You can even say Bears ownership is the worse in the NFL, and M. Brown is the cheapest billionaire, only concerned with profits over winning. How many top 5 picks have these teams had and have missed on. How many coaches and GM's have these teams gone through. The Steelers have probably not had a top 10 pick sense the 80's and it's been HOF player after HOF player. The only thing the Steelers have missed on was Dan Marino. I'm not saying he couldn't do it, but it would be a barrier to cross. The Bond producers themselves probably never would have considered him, Even if Barbara herself was intrigued by the prospect. Because they typically pick actors that aren't established stars already. For what it's worth, Colin Salmon (Who was in all of the Pierce Brosnan James Bond movies in the '90s) always played 007 in the initial screen tests for the Bond girls on those films, before they moved on to chemistry tests with Brosnan. So I doubt people at EON are racist.

Steeler fans hate on Tomlin, too, as if it’s easy to be in the AFC with Brady/Belichick, Manning, and now Mahomes/Reid. But he has winning records each year, gets to playoffs consistently, and been to 2 Super Bowls (won one).

In my decades of experience with the team, a Steeler fan hating on Coach T is almost always a self report for being a white supremacist. Often the particularly annoying kind who have internalized it and refuse to admit it cus they think racism is some cartoonish yelling the n word at every Black person they see and not about the actual bias they exhibit.

Peace…Little known fact: Coach Mike Tomlin is from or connected to The Great Coach Chuck Noll coaching tree by way of Coach Tony Dungy: He (Tony Dungy) got his start in the NFL as a player for the Pittsburgh Steelers in 1977, and then circled back as a coach in 1981. He was a DBs coach for three seasons before taking over as the defensive coordinator in 1984 for five seasons, all under head coach Chuck Noll. Tomlin was hired as the defensive backs coach for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in 2001 under head coach Tony Dungy, where Tomlin first learned the Tampa 2 defense that he would use in later coaching jobs.

@@furioussherman7265 , Antonio Brown didn't start out the way he ended up. Early in his career he was known as one of the hardest workers the Steelers had. Hence, he made All-Pro as a punt returner and budding receiver in his SECOND season (2011) and continued the trend almost until his end in Pittsburgh. Maybe his ego gradually got out of control as his success grew, but there seemed to be no drastic change in his behavior until after he suffered head injuries from Vontaze Burfict's cheap shots in the 2015 AFC Wild Card playoffs. I doubt many head coaches would have been able to deal with that headache (no pun intended) as well as Mike Tomlin did, for as long as he did. P. S. According to his birthdate, Antonio Brown actually IS a Cancer. 😐
