Confession: I used to take the empty DEF jugs from the pump isles, refill them with DEF and keep them in my truck. I only did it in winter because DEF pumps freeze here in Canada and then you're forced to buy the expense stuff in the jugs. I'm cheap, ok?

The worse is when you go into the truck stop bathroom stall and it looks like a tornado of milk chocolate came thru. There is no hope for truckers to ever be respected because of these animals. Total disrespect to leave those conditions behind for someone else to clean up. I stopped in a shippers bathroom at check in and there was poop splattered all over the walls. I just decided to hold it. I couldn't imagine buying a used truck after a person like that was living in it the last few years.

Saw that tailgating tonight on i75. Tanker truck passing another truck, a car keeping a safe distance behind the tanker, but some guy in a pete with his nose almost in the trunk of the poor car. No reason for that at all. Also, im so tired of having to watch where i step in a truck stop to avoid god knows what. Litter fines should be trippled for us truckers because we should know better.

I rolled up to a loves and a driver had a bottle of piss sitting on top of the fuel machine. Trash can literally right next to it. And the worst, when they take a dump in a bag and toss it on some property. Another level of wtf

Yes! I also HATE when I see a driver who is representing the industry I work for tailgating and practically getting ready to run someone else off the road. It’s unprofessional AF and makes us look bad. ESPECIALLY when they’re doing it to another truck. I’ve also noticed MANY of the same drivers who throw the trash, don’t use blinkers, tailgate, etc are the ones who aren’t from here. They have zero respect for our country and our laws yet we have so much respect for them that we hand them a zero experience job, driving a missile on wheels and no English needed? Don’t get me started 😡

I would give you a hundred thumbs up on that. Everything you said is why I just quit and retired could not stand even seeing them any longer. They are putting these foreigner's in big truck's like it's no bigger deal than working in a chicken processing plant or landscaping labor and it sure looks like the cops are told to leave them alone. The tailgating stuff is freaking unbelievable, dumb dangerous animals riding the bumper of cars at high speed and the police do nothing.

Most of the time it is not newbies that I see behaving like this. It's old school veteran trash pulling this crap. A newbie will most likely follow behind the example his trainer set forth. If his trainer properly stored and disposed of his bottles the newbie will follow suit. If the trainer tossed out the bottles any and everywhere the newbie will most likely continue that behavior when he goes solo. I would be shocked if a high percentage of new drivers were tailing another vehicle 6 inches from the bumper. It's tough enough just staying safe doing the basics. It's confident veteran drivers who think they own the road.
