Hi! I want to start this business - I’m a senior financial analyst / product finance controller. I measure the viability of projects through the pre development and post launch lifecycle for a major Auto company. I do a little FP&A with actuals, however my main focus is future outlook. I also finalize MSRPs and negotiate pricing prior to launch. I make recommendations to decision making committees and brief c-suites on a regular basis Am I qualified? Or do I need cpa / senior management level experience first? I’m insecure in my ability to be classified as CFO material being fairly early into my career (29yo)

Most CFOs aren't CPAs, so I that's not really a requirement. As far as experience, I think it really depends on what size clients you want to serve!

@@TheCFOreportthank you very much! Based on some of your content I seem to be hearing a value close to 250k minimum net revenue; You need to have some cash flows to work with.. the real challenge is figuring out the net revenue ceiling that we have the expertise to handle.
