I can appreciate how Prodigy’s unique brand of psychic powers are super critical for this mission as opposed to more standard but more powerful psychics like Emma or Betsy, but I would also argue that another good alternative to Prodigy could be Sage. Her computer brain and psychic powers might be perfect for downloading all those timelines/memories. Regardless, this was a solid first issue!

Sage can't directly tap another person's brain passively though, which is the whole point of Prodigy. Now, it's a different story if we're talking about hacking cyborg Moira, but that comes with battle, higher probability of losses, and risk of detection by the Dominion.

Moira's flip always made sense to me. Most of her first lives were dedicated to curing herself or getting rid of mutanity. She hated what she was and each passing life she was met with failure in trying to prevent mutant survival - finding failure each in joining Xavier's, Magneto's and Apocalypse's causes. I think deep down, the end result is that she'd always decide that mutants were ultimately not worth saving, and would ultimately side with AI (if not unwillingly) to act against her own kind (if Destiny's warning meant anything).

In "The Children of the Vault", cable wrote to Hope that events didn't go as he expected and that he didn't see these unexpected events coming. It was implied that it was because of manipulations of the timeline by the Dominion : "I'm sorry, Hope. None of this should have happened. I should have seen the gala, the gates, everything coming. I should have been able to protect you. I should have known. But the whole timeline is in upheaval...not as it should be. Something has made a mess of time."

@@christopheouvrard8548 modern Marvel have come up with 2 pathetic plot contrivances to try and excuse their utter incompetence- Dominion and Loki being the God of Stories who can rewrite past events. The idea that time travellers like Cable, Bishop, Kang, TVA, Rachel Summers, Fantastic Four and Doom didn't see this coming is ridiculous. The idea that mystics like Doc Strange didn't know either is ridiculous. The idea that 20 plus pantheons of gods and omnipotent cosmic entities didn't know this is ridiculous. The idea that Phoenix Force empowered Jean Grey, Rachel Summers or the Phoenix 5 (who have all had direct contact with Sinister) couldn't see this is ridiculous. Doctor Doom alone has visited infinite future timelines, had controlled the minds of everyone on Earth at least twice and has held the power and omnipotence of the most powerful being in every reality twice- yet couldn't see Sinisters schemes?? We have already seen countless timelines that exist beyond Moiras death- including Days of Future Past itself. Almost every single story in X-men (& Marvel) history since 1963 makes absolutely no sense thanks to constant Krakoan era continuity mistakes. Moira, Xavier, Sinister, Mystique and Destiny all existed in a medium where we could literally see their innermost thoughts and motivations for decades- none of which make any sense anymore. Since it's inception, a prerequisite for working at Marvel was being intimately familiar with the characters and all their history. The Internet has given rise to an arrogant generation of writers and editors who think they can just read Google it and wikis instead. This never works as they are always embarrassingly missing too much detail and context. They desperately need to hire people who actually know what they're doing. But instead of listening to fans they've done nothing but defame them. Post 2015 stories have sadly reduced the greatest and most expansive continuity in the history of fiction to unconnected gibberish now. After nearly 10 years of this destructive behaviour the characters are irredeemable and lore broken beyond repair.

Kind of wish there was an explanation of how eggs can be used to grow adult people without the 5 assisting or showing the 5 getting asked to figure it out but I welcome multiversal upgrades and what not- could use a timeline visualization for the murder wall that is Moira. Maybe Sinister too. I feel like a loaded ice cream or sandwich needs to be called "Moira's Axe". There needs to be a X-statix comic based on the grotesque ships and weapons of this era.

Although it's not perfect, I deeply love the Krakoa Era. But for a Saga that does so much with the mutant history, both far in the future (Powers of X) and in the past (Apocalypse/Genesis,/Sinister/Exodus/Destiny/Mystique and so on), I'm surprised how they did near to nothing with the externals.

@@christopheouvrard8548 Honestly, that can be said with most of X men. Despite introducing the Externals, only 4 have ever been noteworthy; the two that existed before it, Candra and Gideon. Plus, they’re messy. Tini Howard was probably the person who has done the most with them in this era with her work on Excalibur, X of Swords and X-Corp. I mean, we actually got a good Selene story where she’s not just the only praiseworthy thing. I usually tie that book with Way of X and Sabretooth as the Kriticism of Krakoa trio. Ayala’s New mutants also does that but it’s Ayala; you know they’ll pump out something good.

The Dominion said something about Multiverse 5/Cosmos 6. If I remember my Ewing Ultimates...doesn't that mean it is from the Galactus universe? As I understand it the first Cosmos was a sole universe. Cosmos 2 was the first one that was a multiverse (so Cosmos 2/Multiverse 1). Galactus was from Cosmos 5/Multiverse 4. The Marvel Universe prior to Hickman's Secret Wars would be Cosmos 6/Multiverse 5 and after Secret Wars it would be Cosmos 7/Multiverse 6.Multiverse 5/ Cosmos 6 was the universe of Galan (who would become Galactus) as well as his mom Taaia, who is assisting Adam in this comic. Multiverse 6 / Cosmos 7 was the mainline Marvel multiverse for most of its publication history. And Multiverse 7 / Cosmos 8 is the mainline Marvel multiverse after the Secret Wars event a few years ago (not the Secret Wars event from the 1980s). extremely high-tech, so it makes sense that the Dominion is from there.

They have been brought back from those eggs in the white Hot Room, or at lest the White Hot Room in that it was mentioned as being apart as to why their back. Say for Dazzler who mentioned her ability to bring herself back ("immortal") and doesn't want to test the limits. That leaves me to believe she came back without the need of the White Hot Room or the eggs. But they haven't yet to mention Cannonball's immorality and if that's how he comeback. The Nathaniel being the one to cure 13 year old Moira isn't likely, it could be one of the Sinister or Stasis but given the OG Nathaniel died in what 1895. So that was way before Moira was even born, so it could be the OG Nathaniel. But it could very well not be any of them and just some random guy and nothing more.

In the 90’s, Dazzler sometimes died in Excalibur and other titles, only to come back soon after. Considering that the Externals storyline was dropped and she could definitely better symbolise things than Cannonball, it’s speculated that she might have been the actual 11th External.

I'll admit I don't know much (read: anything) about Prodigy, other than his Avengers Initiative appearances. Come to think of it, that Prodigy wore a gold suit with a helmet. I’m still a little turned around on how one woman’s death erases an entire timeline. Wouldn’t it just erase it for her? And she would start over again? Those that remain after her death would just continue on. So really her mutant power is to destroy timelines upon her death then.

Thanks for the video! If Sinister has already become Dominion, he'd probably be beyond time; omniscient and omnipresent so any attempt of interfering with events would be foreseen and immediately neutralized. I really do not like when writers receive too much freedom to mess with characters' origins, produce inconsistent and incoherent story lines.

I dont think they have access to any Moira clones (werent they all destroyed after sins of sinister?). I believe these are timelines that Sinister already created and lived through, before destroying a Moira clone and resetting it. So somehow theyre accessing these dead-end timelines before they ended i think? Interested to see what significance the M'Kraan crystal has here.

This is a giant plot hole, because Moria became cybernetic before the moria engine went live, and the version they cam across was cybernetic. The moria engine was made after she was outed, and after she lkost her powers.

The Fall of X-Men's plot is thikening but it remains overall dumb and bleak. This team's aim, as it was announced in this issue, doesnt make any sense and no character questions that. This diverse team is special, diverse, but I dont see them evolving anywhere interesting by what Ive read in this issue. I like this channel but these Marvel adventures of X seem just to go back to parading the same old mindless games of the pre-Krakoa decades.
