It’s crazy to think about billions of fish being raised, but I hope the workers in these factories are treated fairly too because this type of work can’t be easy at all...

It’s wild how tilapia farming feeds so many, but it’s hard to ignore concerns about fish welfare and water quality in these packed facilities .

I had no idea tilapia farming was this massive; processing millions of tons must be a huge operation, but it makes me wonder how they manage waste and keep things eco-friendly...

This level of production is fascinating, but it makes me wonder about the quality of the fish being sold - are they raised naturally or are there issues with overuse of antibiotics and chemicals???

I didn’t realize tilapia farms were this big, but does this large-scale farming come at the cost of water pollution and overuse of antibiotics?

It’s wild how large the tilapia industry is, but does processing millions of tons mean there’s a risk of overproduction or lower quality standards for the fish being raised???

I appreciate that tilapia is affordable and widely available, but are these farms really meeting ethical standards or just cutting corners to maximize profits?

I’m impressed by the sheer numbers involved, but I worry about the welfare of the fish and whether their living conditions are humane and healthy for such large-scale operations???

Tilapia farms efficiently raise billions of fish annually, using advanced techniques to meet global demand, processing millions of tons.

In my opinion wild natural tilapia is great but the farmed ones taste like dirt
@harry55t14 күн бұрын
It depends. I can get live tilapia in the supermarket. If you want really good flesh, keep the fish in clean water for 3 days. All the dirt will be filtered out.

Raising billions of tilapia sounds like a complicated process, and I wonder if the fish are kept in good conditions or if overcrowding and stress are common issues...

Raising and processing tilapia at this scale must have an environmental cost; I’d like to know if they’re using any innovative technology to reduce their footprint and stay sustainable...

While producing tons of tilapia is a huge feat, I can't help but worry whether these farms contribute to damaging aquatic ecosystems through waste and chemical runoff .
