great video. I'm just going to try painting inside of some ornaments, i've been researching so many videos. I was wondering why can't you use polyacrylic then the paint, then i saw your video! so many people have had their ornaments crack after time. Have the ornaments you've done with the polyacrylic held up over time? i see you did this video in 2020

You could also try adding the polycrylic to your paint do it as a one-step process. Just remember you have to keep your paint to polycrylic ratio like 2:1 or 3:1, otherwise it will be too see through.

Can I mix the polyocrylic with the acrylic paint then pour??

I’m so frustrated trying to get the paint to spread around inside the ornament ( maybe my acrylic is too thick & funky?) I’m considering securing plastic over the hole with plastic wrap and a rubber band and throwing them in the dryer on air toss cycle. It’s been 3 days I’ve been at this and getting the paint to spread around has been a real pain.

Yea it sounds like the paint is too thick. What brand are you using?

My paint wasn’t thick I literally banged the ornament for about an 1hr to spread evenly. With the glitter ornaments it’s way easier

Which polycrylic did you use there’s so many. I sold some ornaments and they send me a picture the paint cracked . I’m so embarrassed I want to cry .

I use the clear gloss finish. Don’t feel bad! You can always remake them 😊
