1-analyzes what harmful habits that you are doing right now and specify what are you willing to drop and replace them with good habits. 2- do positive habits 3- plan your tasks And don’t do anything els and be realistic in planning 4- when you watch a video on your computer roll up your chair, hands off key board, video on full screen and do the thing same with phone hands off phone when watching videos. 5- meditate to spiritual music because it’s less boring 6- have goals and revise them on a monthly or weekly basis

Original. Good video. Had to resist the urge to comment until the end of the video. I started detoxing 3 days ago. It havent been perfect but no porn, alcohol and no gaming. My next worst habit is KZbin so quitting that for a while is the next step. Then sugar and caffeine. Its a lot to do all at once but I feel better at the end of the day, the more I detox. Yesterday was my most productive day in a while. Sold property worth 500 dollars in my mini business, worked out, handed in a lab report for my biology studies. All these little bad habits takes a lot of time and energy. It is so much more rewarding to actually get stuff done. And meditating is the best invention ever. I try to do 30-45 minutes once a day. It is an exercise in being bored to the point where you start looking inwards.

In 2021 i decided to fast dopamine by stopping playing games, not using social media, not watching porn e.t.c. And i think it was the best decision i made in my whole life because it literally turned me into an optimist person with a huge self confidence and a motivation to achieve my goals. Now im looking at my friends who are still going for instant gratification and seeing the whole way i made to become who i am now. So trust me, fasting dopamine will make you a way better person

I had been thinking for a while that I have an unhealthy relationship with video games, specifically the sandbox-y type that I can spend an entire day in, not *really* have all that much fun and be dismayed at all the time I wasted on doing little to no progress in a virtual and ephemeral environment at the end of the day. I realized at some point that it "dulls" me in some capacity and really only serves to occupy my mind, rather than genuinely entertaining me, but this video puts that sentiment in a new light that motivates me further to work out these kinks in my everyday life.

For me personally the only thing i’ve ever been addicted to is (social)media, and video games. This video i learned that if i want bad habits to go away i actually need Some Good ones to replace them. This is were i’ve been doing it all wrong. So thanks for this video man i Think this new insight will make a Huge difference for me.

@@JoeMommaBoi i think the biggest positive thing/ habit (for now) is the first few Hours of the day no Phone, pc ,etc. And instead of this . I go for walks in nature, eat breakfast ,excercise, sometimes Some schoolwork, clean My room and so forth. I’m genuinely a lot happier. Would totally recommand this.

I have trouble setting goals. Im a college student and my country is in a terrible state right now. (Turkey) Nothing seems realistic and I don’t want my goal to be just finding a job after I graduate. I will graduate this year and i don’t know what to do after. This makes me so depressed. I just play video games and stare at my phone. I’ve recently started to meditate and exercise again and it really decreased my anxiety. But other than that I have no motivation.

I will say, during the beginning to the middle I was thinking about my personal addictions and the addiction that I THINK my gf has and was thinking of how I’m going to tell her how WE need to do this together. BUT then I thought… NO, Samuel, you need to do this for YOU! myself. And not try to fix what I think she needs to fix. @davidstamey33782 жыл бұрын
Anything that loops you into living life, instead of watching others live life, is generally good. However, if it turns out she is not so serious about having a relationship (or an "open relationship ") or anything like that, I would bail, REGARDLESS of how hot she is. I've been the guy dating girls that look like dimes, but have penny souls, and it's just living in quiet desperation whilst trying to force something into existence, that never TRULY existed. If she is a good girl, most definitely pursue it, or you may regret not doing so. Emphasis on good girl though!

Most addicted to less addicted games > porn > social media Manage to cut off a lot of social media and porn, although I am still a little big struggle with the latter sometimes. Porn damaged my mental health a lot, there is a video on Millennia Thinker channel that is 90% accurately describe my first attempt to start a relationship with a someone. That video is about a porn addict who rejects a girl who is interested in starting a relationship with him because he knows he will hurt her a lot due to his porn addiction. Video games has played a major part of my life and is the thing that caused me to fail 2 semesters in during my study at university, have bad temper, extra salty and toxic in relationship with my friends and families. Somehow I manage to bring myself to halt in my gaming addiction. From playing multiple games, Dota, Maple, Runescape PUBG, Counter Strike and many more, I slowly removed those games out of my daily life equation. To anyone who is super addicted to grindy MMOs like RuneScape and wish to quit it for good, ask yourself, is it worth to get that 99str if u looks like a fat ass sitting on ur gaming chair playing RuneScape everyday. Ask yourself what is the point of getting 99 Agility when you struggle to even run or jump. What is the point of merching or doing PVM everyday to make a lot of money when in real life u are broke af? The key is to argue with yourself, what is the point of indulging yourself in virtual reality when you are not making any progress in real life. It is very hard to do at first, it takes time, you need a lot of patience to slowly overcome the addiction. Edit: ops I forgot to mention I am proud of myself because i manage to focus watching the entire videos with pausing or skipping.

There is no point in dopamine detox. You just have to learn to adapt to the way the world is now. Let’s be real, are you REALLY going to stop or even seriously moderate your use of social media, KZbin, streaming services, video games and whatever else? Sure it might work for a few days or even weeks or months, but in the end, you will go back to what makes your brain feel good in the moment. Not trying to be fatalistic but just realistic. Times change. We live in the digital era now, no point trying to pretend otherwise or to living in a faux pre 21st century era. As long as you can still work, go to the gym, socialize, and get out in nature sometimes, you’re okay.
