Thanks, I am not technical at all. Your video was the easiest and fixed my problem :)

I like your video, well explained! Thumps up. However, concerning your remark at the end: I believe is not fully true what you say: there is indeed a hall sensor in the brake lever which triggers at about half way of the lever pulled - yes. But it engages a second brake, the e-brake on the front wheel. The motor and cruise control do not remain active until the hall sensor activates the e-brake. The motor control is only linked to the power level at your right-hand thumb. So - by tightening the disk brake you just will result in that the rear (disk) brake engages a bit before the front (e-brake) engages. In terms of safety it’s a benefit, not a risk 😉

Thanks for the video. When should you replace the braking pads?
@mitakka3 жыл бұрын
Thank you mate, I didn't know that the fixed pad can be adjusted as well, my rotor disk is bend and achieving both strong braking and no rubbing when riding was very tricky, now the wheel spins freely and competely blocks when full brake is applied. I have no kers whatsoever because I had to replace the motor with a non original one and I solely depend on the disk brake.

The torch 🔦 idea works much better if you shine the light from the other side, as in the front of the Caliper and you look from behind looking down towards the light, this is better

Can you make a video about the last part you mentioned about the sensor and the brake light? I didn’t get that. Or can you explain a bit more in a reply here?
@lefterisbampaidis54463 жыл бұрын
The brake light is controlled by the lever pressure. If you tighten the cable and the brake engages with a light lever pressure then you'll have no brake light. I find the best to be so you feel maximum lever resistance about halfway of the stroke. Experiment and see what works best for you. Cheers.

Thanks.. My m365 Pro when I press the brake lever doesn't have any effect until press it 50%+. It should immediately activate the motor brake (and disable the cruise control) and then, if I press more, it should brake with the disk. Is it possible to adjust the brake lever sensor?

Did you find an answer to your question? Because I just ran into the same thought.

I have the xiaomi scooter pro and it is showing error 15 on the screan and it won’t move how can I fix this
@kevindarkstar4 жыл бұрын
Error code 15 is the hall sensor on the brake lever, so try to remove the chip unit below the lever and replace it, if that fails you might need a new one, there are videos on KZbin about it.

I didn't quite understand where is this sensor located and how to adjust the lever to use it to deactivate the cruise control...
@PkKingX114 жыл бұрын
Cruise control is controlled by the Xiaomi Home app.
