Honestly with the release of the pickle fork at simpleshot this is a most needed video

Excellent video and much appreciated. I believe the 2 videos I use/prescribe to new picklers are from Keith Dighton and Darrell Guillory, A.k.a. Dgui PFS Shooter and desigber of the OPFS. Keep on picklin, fellers.

Thanks Chris for showing us it is helping me shoot the narrow fork Slingshots with accuracy!

I liked your explanation, Chris. Being a well rounded shooter is what I consider to be the ultimate goal. I especially liked that you added the part about the tweak being unnecessary. I don't tweak anymore. I grab the marble itself. Just gotta get your hand out of the way in time! Keep it up. Happy to see the love still going around.

Appreciate. Just got 1st fickle pickle. Put simpleshot nitro bands on their flippin pickle. Yea, I need to twist and bend. Sometimes less is more. I need to learn more about bands and correct ammo. You explain stuff very well.

PFS is my favourite frame style, so small and pocketable the way a sling should be. I tend to flip my hand a bit, it's just instinctive for me to shoot that way. The frame design also lends itself to those wanting an easy to make slingbow as the narrow fork gap is an ideal arrow rest.
@_g_5204 жыл бұрын
Me personally I absolutely hate pfs, they dont even look shootable and weird. Why even file in a fork gap if your not gonna use it on a pickle fork! Idk but they just trigger me by the way they look
@_g_5204 жыл бұрын
and there are regular slingshots that are pocketable, ik they not as small as the pickle fork but it doesn’t need to be microscopic to be pocketable

Somehow i love using frameless , set in my wirst just like any bracelet, with 2050 tube , magnetic ammo holder, just perfect combine of EDC conceal carry 👌

@@SouthEastAsiaCountryBoy I like frameless too, at the moment I have a full width, 15cm wide, flatband set up.

Tricky style to master but alot of fun when you've the basics nailed .I used a glove on the frame hand and just twisted not bent the pouch.i found tubes alot better for that style 👍best of luck with your family and your building.

I really committed myself to pfs last year and shot a hunter's corse competition with it and put in a respectable score with it witch I was very happy with you can get very accurate with them if you put the time in but I just find it not consistent enough good video mate 👍

I really like the style and idea of this style of slingshot I once saw an old gamekeeper with what looked like the end of a broomhandle with two grooves in one end and elastic tied on yrs ago shoot a crow out of a tree with it and was impressed as a 7 yr old would be and never forgot how accurate it was!

Thanks Chris for sharing such informative tips on the pickle fork style. I seem to find my niche as an instinctive shooter with slingshots. Especially with pickle forks......but my Archery background always catches me off guard with my stance, form, and execution of the shot. Funny how that works backwards with me 😉😎👍

I've just recently got a new slingshot that has a very small fork width(3cm) and it's very difficult to shoot without getting fork hits! Surely 3 cm is small enough to be a PF? I haven't been shooting long!

Am I insane or could you shoot a full size arrow using a PFS to rest the arrow o In the gap? Can’t find anything on it. Seems too simple and makes me feel I’m missing something.

I have been trying the PFS, and find I need to wear a glove on my frame holding hand to protect from the band slap on the backs of my fingers.
@savourypotato3 жыл бұрын
Just rub some sand paper on the back of you knuckles before bed and the problem will go away in a few months...
@caduceus333 жыл бұрын
@@savourypotato Thanks for your helpful advice, but I think I'll stick with the glove. I once saw a close-up of Dgui's left hand, and the skin on at least one finger was fissured, cracked and not looking so good, obviously the result of constant band slap.
