Thanks for the video and the helpful information. I am a curly girl trying to get my curls back after years of doing all the wrong things! I tried the oatmeal rinse and it was very soothing for my irritated itchy dry scalp.

I find you very relatable and enjoy your videos. Your personality is genuine. Your videos on your experience with child trauma is very eye opening and I appreciate you putting yourself out there.

I just wanted to reach out and say thanks! When I first found your channel and was following you, I was just starting my version of the CGM and my hair was DAM.AGED. You were my curl crush but I never thought my hair would look anything like yours - now it is extremely similar! YAY!!!!!!! You have helped me SO much on the way!

I love this, the purple is still so cute. Sometimes I take fresh sage boiled and pour the sage water as the last rinse, my gosh leaves my hair so soft❤️

The Garden Lady I’ve never heard of using sage to rinse! I’m intrigued!

Ha ha......me too (haircut), AND I was going to get my white roots done. My appointment was on the 17th and the day before she called and cancelled. I loved this! Nice and short but I learned new techniques and I love the little glimpses of your animals (fave in this one was the cat on the bathtub with you). XO

I hear ya girl. Both my colour and haircut appointment were canceled so I have been riding my grays out longer than I'd like. I bought a box dye kit in the meantime to help me get through the quarantine. On another note, thank you so much for last week's hard water video. My curls had been less than stellar lately, and yes we do have hard water here in Canada. I happened to have Kinky Curly Come Clean so I used that, followed by a baking soda rinse and a new deep conditioner by Sheamoisture. I then applied gel to wet hair, air dried and my curls were popping and springy and I made it to day 4-5, which is a miracle. Sorry for the long comment but I love your videos and I look forward to 5 minute Fridays every week.😊

Be careful of baking soda rinses. If used Too often and not followed by a vinegar rinse can change the PH balance of your hair and cause it to dissolve. 😢

Ooo must try. My hair appointment was cancelled as well. Trying to hold out but I may give in to a unicorn cut

Did you dye your hair again between this video and the first one with the purple and rose gold? Trying to tell if this is the faded color or if it had been touched up between. I’m itching to do the overtone for brown hair in purple and blue but trying to find videos of how it fades is tough. Wondering if I should stick with the rose gold to avoid any weird fading...? The pink/red fades pretty... I’m afraid blue will pull too much green with time and eventually stain instead of finally fading completely out.

I gotta try that oat milk rinse!! Also had no idea you use tropicgyal naturals!!

I feel this so much! Also in need of a haircut that I'd been putting off... Whoops. Question (for anybody who can answer this): I've been seeing a lot of wet frizz and curls going limp within a couple days of washing. What do I do??

So gorgeous!!! I'm addicted to your videos!!! What colour have you got on? I've been using henna but people keep saying it makes your curls drop!? Xxx

Your hair looks gorgeous. I’ve been wanting to try one of these cool rinses. They seem to transform people’s hair so fast. Who knows I might review it on my channel one day. I wonder if it’ll work lol.

So pretty curls! Did you let your hair airdry or did you use an air dryer with diffusor?

At the moment I think I have protein overload so I may try this. My wet strand test confuse me.it will stretch then break and my hair like frizzles up. So idk if I need protein or moisture. Glad I saw this because I never have and I may try .
@longyarn42884 жыл бұрын
Hmmm, if you're in protein overload your hair most probably will feel dry and crunchy. You could try a mix of coconut cream, banana and aloe vera juice as a deep conditioning treatment. Put one small banana in a blender with some aloe vera juice (start with 1/3rd a cup and add more if needed), blend thoroughly. Pour thru a fine mesh strainer and Don't tap or push mixture. You DON'T want banana fiber in your hair! Whatever goes thru the strainer mix in an equal amount of coconut cream; apply to your hair, wrap with plastic/plastic cap, use a heat cap if you like and leave on for about half an hour to forty five minutes, but no longer than an hour, or risk hygral fatigue!!! Wash out with a super gentle shampoo (like TréLuxe or All About Curls line) and see if that doesn't help. The aloe vera juice (protein) helps to balance the Super moisturizing banana and coconut. I got this recipe from GreenBeauty or Curly Proverbz, I can't remember which one, but it works like a charm!

Jannelle O'Shaughnessy i do got a question to you .. what happen if you get grey hair.. and they dont curl?
@Guladanaweb4 жыл бұрын
How does the clay work? Do you have to scrub like a normal cowash or shampoo? Or does it just need to soak in and wait?
@ircabbit4 жыл бұрын
Does this make the proteins accessible for your hair, or no? I was just reading that people use oat milk to remove oil as well! Amazing.

hello my name is thaissa I am from Brazil and I love watching videos of curly hair taking care of my hair so I am learning English so I find it via channels that speak English the problem is not captioned here in Brazil most girls are curly or wavy and us we accepted a lot and followed a lot of people in this medium I hope you put a caption on your video and conquer the Brazilian people 💚💛

Do you ever blow dry your hair straight? Just wondering .. your so pretty!
@longyarn42884 жыл бұрын
Why would she? Straightening curly hair is damaging and the reason we do all these rinses and scrunching and conditioning treatments and this-ing and that-ing, is to celebrate our curls and get them as healthy and curly as possible! Curls ROCK!
