Proportioning valve is the answer to the brake problem. Fits are fun cars. People think I'm crazy for spending some money on minor suspension mods, wheels and tires, and they just don't know.
@henryjk94193 жыл бұрын
I have one with 530k, runs like a top, put good tires and brakes and handles amazingly, would be interesting to see what some minor tweaks would do for sure

I just purchased an 07’ Fit Sport with 60k miles and I love it. Lacking in power but still a lot of fun on back roads etc.
@RickOAA3 жыл бұрын
Curvy roads and traffic are great equalizers. Those 500 plus horsepower sedans and SUV's don't do anything special most of the time other than guzzle fuel and costing a bunch in insurance premiums.
@abhinavviswanadh55913 жыл бұрын
Does minor enhancements like suspension upgrade, stickier tires etc make much of a difference on a fit? Provided that mine is a 2017 gk5 and has a basic L12b and not the L15b
@RickOAA3 жыл бұрын
Yeah. The tires especially. Springs, you just can't go too heavy or low. With wheels it's possible to have a wider wheel/tire combination that's lighter than OEM. With camber bolts corner grip can be improved and the outer edges of the tire can be saved a little bit. Coil overs are good if you want to go there. A rear sway bar and strut bar are preferences that add some ride harshness, but not entirely necessary.

Damn what a beautiful car. This fills me with so much joy as an owner of a GE ('09) 5-speed. It may only have the stock 117 hp engine, but boy is it fun to drive. It just _feels_ fast. I admit most of that comes from the sheer pucker factor of driving this thing at high speed, but that's why I love it. Not to mention it looks slick as hell.

Love it! Love it when gearheads get back in the game. I also had a hiatus cor like 6 years while We got the fam on track. Got back in the scene in 2020. Went from dsm's and a galant vr4 to a New edge Mustang. Shes not fast but shes fun ! Love the guys mindset. Those little fits are great cars. Ive owned one and plan on buying another one next year for my sons first car.i currently dayli a 6 speed tsx and cant help to think what a hoot it would be to drive a fit with a k24 in it.
