App subscriptions seem like a scam to me. RIP end user and packaged software. I feel like Apple is the worst about this too. I have $50 recurring on my bank statements for something I thought was a one time charge. Just caught it after six months.

If you download an app that asks for your credit card information but you don't put it in, will the app still charge you even after you disable your account and delete the app? Because I stupidly downloaded an app called Hent AI Roleplay, thinking that it was an AI roleplay app, but it was an adult gaming app related T for teen! So I panicked and tried to cancel my "subscription" which included me putting in my zip code but I wasn't able to, so I had to disable my account. Will I have to worry about them charging me even if I didn't put my credit card information?

This is just my opinion, but you should be good AS LONG AS you didn't allow Apple to bill for the app. If you didn't add your CC to the app they shouldn't be able to get it unless you OK'd billing through Apple. Hello, unfortunately you usually have to cancel free trials 24-hours in advance of the end of the trial. All you can do now is cancel it so it doesn't renew next year.

Hey sorry to hear you're having trouble. If the subscription is not on your Apple account check that you didn't sign up through a different provider like Google Disney Amazon or whatever. Sometimes you can access subscriptions and accounts on your iPhone and computer but you actually have signed up with a provider that is not related to Apple. You can cancel by going to the total av page and then go to manage billings then to cancel subscription. It‘s somewhat hidden, took me a while to find it but hope that helps

You have to go to My Billing and THEN you have to push the green button with the pen.. THEN you will observe that UP AND RIGHT there is an indication "managing billing preferences". THERE IT IS! Extremely hidden

Hi Daisy, as long as you canceled from the app store, it should stay active until the end of your billing cycle at which point you should see that it goes to the expired. First thing I would do is check my credit card statement for any reference of the company that is charging the card. If that doesn’t help, then I would reach out to your credit card company and dispute the charges. One of the nice things about credit card companies is they will help. I hope this helps. Hi there, debit cards work a little bit differently and many banks are reluctant to stop auto pay on a debit card. If you can try to always use a credit card because they would go to bat for you much more than your bank. I would contact your bank and see what they can do for you. Please let me know how it goes.

Something to know, most app developers and service providers don't stop billing you just because you deleted the account on your device.
