Bobby Barrack had always talked about 52-58 degrees as his favorite time to fish. Good to know that someone else verified that (publicly at least).

Great interview and informative cold water 💧 fishing experience. (Gene )

Up north, just give up until spring. You might get 3 or 4 decent fish for the entire season, but you'll be out for 20 miserable days skunking in the cold per fish caught.

@@wendellfishing I watched this video while looking at my catches on my app and can say the info here is spot on! I'm 10 minutes from Lake Pleasant in Arizona and our water temps are just hitting the low 60s. Blade baits, crankbaits, and for whatever reason the Nessie 5 glide bait are smashing right now. Anything deeper and they are hard to set. Great info for all anglers. *edit* for those suspended bass, the 10,000 Fish Head Hunter is an absolute beast for bumpin-n-grinding rocky bottom shorelines. You can drag it through anything and all day long.

Thanks for putting this video out! I'm gonna put forth the effort this year to catch a good one on my local bodies of water this winter....lol weather permitting of course

All the shad don’t move to the back of the creeks in the fall. I think the ones that do are just more condensed . Just went to Chick a few weeks ago the bite in the creeks was not very good . Most guys were still fishing the main river .

In case you didn’t get your question answered, the “F1” that Gene referred to is a Florida strain of largemouth that is genetically predisposed to warmer water temperatures and grows larger and faster.
@crisruiz747Ай бұрын
F1 is actually a hybrid between northern strain and Florida strain.
