I have brought this car second hand, and sadly was not given information about type of previous oil, and cannot reach the old owner now. I was wondering if doing an oil change and putting new oil will affect the engine whatsoever, in case it’s different to the old oil type. Thanks

In this case, the manufacturer recommends using engine oil that will meet specifications and viscosities like : ACEA A2/B2 SAE 10W-30|SAE 10W-40|SAE 15W-40 API SG SAE 10W-40|SAE 15W-40|SAE 20W-50 API SH SAE 10W-30|SAE 10W-40|SAE 15W-40|SAE 15W-50|SAE 20W-50 API SJ SAE 0W-30|SAE 0W-40|SAE 10W-40|SAE 15W-40|SAE 20W-50
