My dear friend Mel, I have had a great first quarter thanks to you! I implemented the Million Dollar Mornings, started waking up at 5AM!, walking everyday and keeping up my journal writing. I’ve lost 14lbs since December! My morning and evening routines have been cemented and I’m working towards my dream of being a writer- I’m writing every day! Thanks to you, and your team and your videos. THANK YOU! Let’s keep it going!! 🥳👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

I like how you said your age and added "young"! I'm younger than you, but have same thoughts, worries and panic about all of it and future in general, so I don't think it's age relevant. What helps me calm down and not spiral and actually do things I want, is simply saying to myself that I have all the time in the world, that tricks our brain to stop racing thoughts about it in the moment and concentrate on what you want to do. Also, stop and think what are the things that are more priority, something that you absolutely have to/want to do, as opposed to something you wanna do, but if not done you won't mind as much. Also, eliminate chores as much as possible. I'm a clean and organized person and try to get everything in order before moving on to something else or to something that I actually wanna do, but I noticed it takes a lot of time in a day, leaving almost nothing for other more important things. If you have a thorough cleaning today, things will still need to be cleaned in a couple of days, making it a never ending waste of time process. Not to say that those things shouldn't be done at all, but when it's not major - skip it, that's what I'm forcing myself to do now.

You know what I love about you, Mel? You are using your considerable platform to give back… I don’t want to point out anybody in particular, but I feel like there are people who have incredible personal wealth and resources that continue to sell services to people who may or may not be able to afford those… I think it’s just wonderful that you are truly giving this as a gift. Thank you so much someday I hope to have you on my podcast which hasn’t started yet but you’re kicking it off for me❤️. Much love and good health for your upgrades in hormones journey (been there, done that:). With thanks and gratitude for all that you do, Gail

Fascinating video, Let's stop taking relationship and family for granted. I have battled depression since my wife left me. I have tried all I can to make her see that I love her with everything I am made of but she has insisted on leaving. This has made me so empty, and I do not know what to do. I can barely function properly at work. I am frustrated and miserable. I really miss her.

Hey there Christopher 😊 I just read your comment and honestly I feel your pain 💔 when you love someone genuinely and they decide to leave, it's really painful 😖. I totally understand. I can only imagine how you're feeling and what you're going through. I'm really sorry for what you're going through. But I want you to know that as much as it hurts 🤕, you have to let her go since she has made it clear that she no longer wants to be with you despite all your efforts. Then you should take out the time to heal. It's not gonna happen overnight. It's going to take time. And I pray that may God comfort you and heal your wounds. Once again, I'm really sorry 😢. I pray that God will help you to heal up gradually and he'll turn your pain into something beautiful ❤️. God loves you so much and I know that he still has good plans for you. I don't know you but I really pray that you'll be happy again. Take care of yourself 🤗

Mel, I started late in January, but have done fairly well. Working with my vet, I got my 15 yr old, hyperthyroid kitty stablaized and she regain a pound of weight needed. I managed to purge 50% of what I owned and moved 400 miles from PA to NC. ...bad news, I gained 8 pounds. Quarter 2, get back on track with weight. (tearing down my kitchen was an excuse for disordered eating). Find a new hormone doc (Post menopause and PCOS), get back to the pool, and finish purging what won't fit in my new place. (Shrank from 1000 sq ft to 575 sq ft.)

Stop saying "empty nesters"! Reframe. "Chris and I will have the house to ourselves. We are child-free. The only schedules we have to consider are.each other's. We'll be walking around the house naked whenever we want. We only have to buy food that we both like. And more importantly...I succeeded in parenting. They have the love and support to launch, and after all, that was the goal." I have the work book. Thanks for that , and for caring about the world so much. Mwah!

I loved all of this, & in particular "defining a game worth playing over the next 6 months will create meaning & excitement in your life" - this is what I'm missing at the moment! Currently, my life is much more of the *wake up / go to work / come home / eat / mindlessly scroll social media / go to bed* zombie routine, & I need to snap myself out of it. So this is perfect timing for me, thank you 💜

I downloaded the book and I'm starting it today. For the last 8 months or so I've been trying to structure my life in a way that is conducive to my success and to fix/improve my mental health. I have goals and aspirations that I want to achieve, but I struggle with ADD, depression and OCD, which makes it difficult for me to pick a path and stick to it. I was originally working with Cal Newport, Dan Koe, Rian Doris type framework, but I feel like the obsession over money and productivity ends up worsening my anxiety and my mental health. An approach like Mel's and Dr. Chaterrjee's seems to be a better option for me as they both place an emphasis on balance, happiness and joy. Thanks for all you do, Mel. And to everyone else doing this work book, you got this!

I similarly share the feelings of empty nest (although college graduation is in June and they are returning for some time!) and aging parents -who fortunately live in the same town! This surely is a chapter to be present and happy during- with no regrets. When asked to select words that describe what is needed most in life right now, I came up with a little quote that will help me as I go through this..... One way to help with saving, is try to take out so much a week at the bank and try if you can not to touch it. This is a tough one for sure. Good luck and thank you for you trainings.

Free Hi Mel , please send me a copy of the workbook. All the way from South Africa, I swear without following your podcast, applying so much of what you share with us in my life. I wouldn't have made it to 2024. Thank you. Wow. I can't belive I actually shared this. To just speak about it as a someone who has survived almost taking their own life because I didn't know what steps to take to get me out this deep hole of depression I was in
