Today, you are getting a step-by-step guide on how to change your brain so that it helps you get what you want.
Joining Mel today is Dr. Tara Swart Bieber, MD, PhD. She has a medical degree from Oxford, a PhD from King's College London, and is a senior lecturer at MIT.
This #1 neuroscientist will teach you how you can trick your brain into manifesting your goals and desires and use manifesting as a tool for success, happiness, and better health in 4 simple steps.
She will also share the shocking link between stress and your brain and body. She reveals how stress leaks through the skin, is contagious, and gives you belly fat.
You’ll also learn the 2 easy ways to reset your nervous system instantly, the 4 foods to eat for better brain health, the science of intuition, and how to use a vision board to achieve your most ambitious goals.
Class is in session, because after you listen to this, your brain will not be the same.

Neuroplasticity: 1. Touch your head: "Is this what I want?" Touch your heart: "Why?" Touch your gut: "Do I really want this?" ; 2. Focus your attention; 3. Do deliberate practise; and DO NOT GIVE UP! 4. Hold yourself accountable - Record your habits and ask yourself why you did the things you did.

At 26 minutes, make your microhabits what you are looking for in someone else. Absolutely key. Fill your own gaps; don't look for someone to be your missing puzzle piece. THEN you can attract a fair partner match because you aren't trying desperately to fill an empty hole in yourself.

Thanks. I truly believe all that has been said. 20 years ago, after 8 years of failed attempts of finding a new relationship, I attended a metaphysics workshop, I wrote a “wish list” for someone I’d like to share my life. Put it away in the cupboard. A year later. I found someone….. he is everything I could have wished for. I don’t think it was a coincidence He does his own ironing !!!! Loves cooking. Loves dancing. I won’t go on. He isn’t perfect. We are so compatible in many ways 😀. I know I am blessed but I strongly believe in the process. Good luck everyone. Have faith 🌈💜

“I LOVE MY PILLOW!” I do this! My “I Love List” I have done this every morning for years. I teach it to my clients to this as well. I used to struggle with crushing depression and I truly desired to override my negative thought patterns, so I started training my brain to think “I LOVE . . . “ from the first second my eyes opened in the morning. It’s a Life changer!

Thank you. This is helpful. When I hear myself moan about something that is happening to me that I don’t like (like taking medication) instead of moaning I say ‘WOW’. Example, “wow are t I lucky having this amazing medication that is helping me right now.” Or sometimes I just shout “wow” and I ways feel better.

I did the same thing years ago after noticing how easily my kids picked up on my energy and would only be as positive and happy as I was on any given day. I started just repeating the same positive thoughts over and over all the time and silently projecting "I love you" to every person I saw through the day, which made me feel almost euphoric. My brain actually felt sore at first, like training a muscle that's not used to bending that way. I'm not exactly sure when exactly it changed, I just realized one day a few months later that my thoughts were naturally dramatically more positive.

Don't forget to remove negative people. I've held onto decades long relationships with people who actually perpetuated the defeatist thoughts I had. Once I stepped away from them, I then I had to forgive myself for not doing it sooner. It was definitely an obstacle and I feel much more freedom to believe in myself and my abundance now.

Finding a best friend with mutual respect and some shared interests but also respect for each others different interests can happen when a toxic or uneven relationship ends and we give ourselves some time to heal and become more comfortable in our own skin. When we meet someone else, both while being our authentic selves, and accept each others authentic selves, it is amazing! I was with a covert narcissist 15 years and my husband of 6 years last week was married 34 yrs to an overt narcissist. We met online and realized both of us survived all that and no way would we ever treat each other like we had been treated. We communicate well with each other and we both take the others needs in mind when we make decisions, something neither of us felt in out first marriages. Find you first and find acceptance of your strengths and quirks. Then go forth and just be you where you are so the right person can recognize the person that fits them, and you can find them. You will recognize the lack of redflags, the calm of the absence of drama.

I have been doing this through out my whole life, but I called it a wish board. I moved my ideas and pictures to a photo album and years later, when through it; I got nearly everything I wanted that was in that album. It was crazy. Later in life, I wanted to work on a cold case, but I am not a cop or detective, but I had that in my mind and thought about that case. Well God, fate, not sure what, but I have been doing work on cold cases and that case, for 9 years. The story is long, but it was a series of events that let me be able to work with the detectives and be involved in these cases.

Thank you Mel! I teach in juvenile hall and work with students in credit recovery classes 6th-12th grade. As young as 6th grade many have already formed a negative mindset about their capabilities. Using your tools has made such a difference. I have posted a daily mantra and had them write it in their journal. Before tests we all say "we can do this" School is incredibly tough for these kids and I want them to see some source of inspiration. I used your key phrase on two boys in 7th grade who struggle with behavior and academics-the two are typically related. The leadership group came to our classroom to recruit applicants. I took additional applications knowing they felt too embarrassed to do it. They know their image, and I want them to take steps to change it, and realize that they can. Later in class I gave them the applications, and they both laughed and said, "Mrs. Siebert, there is no way-they will kick us out". I looked both of them straight on and said "take the jump, I believe in you." Just to see their expressions, their eyes change when I said that was amazing. I don't think they have an adult in their life that has said that. Will continue to use your inspirational tools. For my own wonderful kids, myself and my amazing students.

I had to pause the video at about the 45-minute mark because I started to tear up. I have all this longing for something, can't pinpoint what it or they are, and all the negativity and doubt I give myself is so overwhelming that I feel like I'm just stuck in a stand-off between me and life. Life is winning because it just keeps moving forward with or without me. It's also very ironic that I was talking with a friend last night of the possibilities of what I want to do since I recently started college at the age of 34, and I was talking about being a psychologist and how the brain fascinates me. I told her about how my college navigator was telling me what type of math classes I would need (because I love math) and she had said if I wanted to go further into math, maybe Neuroscience would be my thing. My friend said, "Why not do that? But why not go into BOTH?" And that made me pause because, why NOT go into both? Then I come across this post from a leading Neuroscientist talking with you about manifestation! I am sincerely trying to learn who I am, and I believe that I might be manifesting things into my life without even realizing it, haha. I love you, Mel! You have been one of the best parts of my journey to self-love and self-discovery and I can't thank you enough.

I've been manifesting and creating vision boards since 2000. I wrote down in 3 separate instances the type of house size, etc I wanted and when. All 3xs I got them. The last one I wrote next door my sister, 3 acres plus, 4,000 sq ft, a library and a downstairs bedroom for my parents. The house I bought is 3 houses from sister's. The only thing is no downstairs bedroom. I completely believe in the law of attraction. What you think about, you bring about.

When manifesting a partner, I don't think we should manifest a specific person rather we should manifest someone we actually need to be with us in our ups and lows. Love shouldn't be forced, it should be from both sides

My brain is not the same! I've been looking for this type of information because as a Financial Planner, I believe that Mastering your Mindset is an essential pillar to transform your finances. It's not only learning about Financial Literacy or having a solid Financial Plan in your hands. It's all tied up to your deepest value! I knew it but I wanted scientific evidence on how and why this works! I was so moved by both of you! Thank you so much! (PS. I'm going back to exercise too!)

Dr., Very informative as usually. I actually did the accountability things i use to procrastinate a lot because i was contented i really wanted to open a business but i was scared and lack confidence and belief etc etc. I told my very successful friend what my plans were and that was it she called me consistently to check in with my progression so i had to act because i had to give her an update on things i didn't want to look bad in her eyes, it forced me to get up and get going and i am so glad i did, it changed me , my belief system, my confidence and today i am running my business successful.

When I was single, I had this guy that I am eyeing. (Christian’s perspective) A sister told me: If you want a godly man, you also need to be a godly woman. That stuck with me and I worked on bettering my relationship with God. Fast forward to this day: I am married to that man and the habit of drawing closer to God is still with me. Translation: I get the part of assessing who you are, the partner that you desire, and filling in the gaps.

I've been trying to manifest a big lottery win so I can buy a lovely big house for 20 years now. Still hasn't happened. If it had happened I would probably believe in this nonsense and not be calling it nonsense.
@alexandraalbertz1442
@alexandraalbertz1442 Ай бұрын
You need to dig deeper to the feelings that big house will give you. What are truly those feelings? What vibration those feeling have? Is it love, joy, gratitude, contentment? How does these feeling makes you to even be of service to others. Then think of ways to feel abundance today of those wonderful feeling. Even not to the magnitude you will feel them once you have that, but in small doses, how can you find joy, fulfillment and contentment now? Stepping into the feelings not makes your desire closer to you. We want to think of everything as a bonus not try to manifest from a feeling of lack. Scarcity is not a vibration from which we can attract. So connect more with those feeling and let the Universe bring things to you in its own way. You will get to those strong feeling even if the final result might look different. Because at the end of the day is not about that giant house, isn't it? Is about you feeling secured, rooted and abundant. I send you all the best. Relax into exploring your feelings, look at a vibrations chart and reflect on it. What you develop inside yourself with your feelings you will attract on the outside

Everybody fantasizes about winning the lottery and having a big house. Putting tenacity behind a goal to achieve what you really want in life is what generates manefesting. It's not magic, it's focused intention paired with intentional action.
