You speak if ingredients that American or Myself has never heard of, that's the 1st thing, 2nd where would we get that ingredients 3rd we have total different environment out here in vegas 4. American food is not nutritional or probably healthy we have to wash our food and soak it. Saying that if you eat poison food and you put the seed in the ground to make your own garden is that seat just as poisonous as that fruit? our soil sucks out here. Gave this a legitimate shot today. Started at 8am. Drank a total of 4L of warm/hot salt water (2tsp per L and Himalayan pink salt). Did the asanas thoroughly. This took me until almost 4pm and my stool while watery was still brown. Fixed kitchadi (100g white basmati and 35g yellow moong dal + some turmeric and 4 tbsp ghee). Rested (whilst making the meal) for 45 min. Ate food (difficult to stomach). Finished by 5:30p. I can’t eat 6 hrs later because I need to sleep at 11:30p. So many questions. This was extremely difficult and I’ve yet to see any benefit. Trying to trust you and your knowledge of Ayurveda, but this seems like maybe Vata types like myself should just avoid this “cleanse”. Any insight would be great. I’m feeling tired, weak, and dehydrated right now. As I understand it I can’t yet drink normal water until 2 hrs after my first kitchadi meal or I risk absorbing the salt water if still present. This whole process was counter to the idea of listening to my body. I wanted to quit doing it and drink fresh room temperature water throughout the entire process. Trying to stay hopeful, but so far this is just aggravating my vata and depriving me of hydration.

@@theyogainstituteofficial Thank you for your advice. That’s what I was thinking. I’m always open to trying new things. This wasn’t a practice that worked for me as far as I can yet tell. My digestive system is still recovering. I lost over 5lbs (Vata type…so counter productive). Trying to slowly reintroduce things like dairy, fruits, non spicy spices, and meat (started with fish). Still hopeful of seeing some positive benefits as I recover. Namaste.

UPDATE: Actually yesterday morning at 6.30 am, I have taken about 2 glasses of water with salt (couldn't drink more cause felt like vomiting) and followed it with the exercises. It was around 8 that i was done with this and prepared khichdi and ate it. there was a bowel moment and felt incredibly light but not completely. Then I waited for 6 hrs and had khichdi again. *The problem* was that after the first bowel movement there was nothing else which happened like the foggy liquid or clean liquid she mentioned. I tried again while dinner by drinking 2 glasses of the salt water but again nothing happened so i gave up.Finally it didnt give me the complete detoxed or cleansed feeling, but did feel light for a while and went back to normal.

Results : 7/7/2024 i have started this kriya at around 9am and ended at 12:52 pm, I alreafy went 2 times washroom before starting this kriya. during my first set i went washroom for 1 time and i observed that my i m gettting foggy yellow which was not that much liquid but as soon as i continued to do the kiya my exerction was getting liquid, in each set i went to bathroom becaus i felt i need to go. During my lat set, my exerection was totally liquid yellow colour, i though that i am suffering from dysentry but later felt that my metabolism was distubed cuze of kriya and removing all toxins from my gut, i was feeling really light in my body during last set.... During this kriya i went 8 to 9 times for exerection. I just finished my kriya and writing this comment. Thank you mam for such wonderful and helpful video. really means alot to me❤️

Did this in early years of my employment. Works wonders. Caution. It is better to practise the asnas for a month BEFORE this Kriya, so that body becomes flexible enough. Water should be slightly warm or luke warm. Do it on a holiday. It is strenuous.

@@__._1 it took me maybe an hr or so before I was satisfied about my evacuation. Maybe 3 rounds of 6 glasses with the asanas should be sufficient. Remember, rest in shavasan. Madam has given a very accurate sequence of activities to be performed. Listen to it very carefully, and stick to the sequence. Our gurus, followed this with KUNJAL kriya and then rest. Rest the whole day.

@@InGreed666 Well, before you put salt, BE SURE about your blood pressure. DO NOT do it if you are a blood pressure patient. 1 Only for normal people with low or normal B.P - put a table spoon of salt in 2 lits. If it tastes like tears it should be O.K else put slightly more. Water should be warm, but NOT HOT. Something you can gulp down easily. WATER SHOULD NEVER BE COLD. 1. Drink the 1st 2 glasses ( about 500 ml) then do the asanas ( complete round). Then drink 2 more glasses and do the complete asanas. By now you may feel the need to go to the toilet. If so please do go and relieve yourself. Then come back and drink 2 more glasses and complete the aasanas. That makes 6 glasses. Relieve yourself the number of times you feel like till clear water is passed out instead of shit. If required go beyond 6 glasses up to 7 or 8. Up to the next 2 / 3 hrs you may feel the need to clear your bowels a number of times for complete passing our the 6 to 8 glasses of water. This is especially if you continue to do the Kati chakra aasan only. Listen to the instructions by Madam carefully. It is complete including what to eat on that day ( next 24hrs at least). Rest is essential to take care of side effects if any.

I just tried it today, I drank a total of 2.4L of water (I also added a bit of orange skin when I boiled the water, because I really just don't like drinking plain water) I went to the bathroom after the end of the 1st round of asanas, normal poop, after the end of the 2nd round of asanas, had another round of normal poop, in the middle of the 3rd round of asanas, I had poop that's liquidy, but still poop, at the beginning of the 4th round of asanas, I had brown-yellowish liquid coming out, at the end of the 5th round of asanas, I had yellowish liquid coming out, during the 6th round of asanas, I had 2 rounds of yellow-clearish liquid coming out The total process took ~4 hours. Prepare some music so you don't get bored easily. After the process, I was fine for about 45minutes but then I got extremely fatigued. I had my first kitchari and now my energy is at normal/slightly below normal level.

I only could drink 5 glasses. And didn't get any pressure while doing asanas. But after 2 hrs i got yellowish liquid poop. And after 1 & 1/2 hr passed the water. It worked 🎉.

Consult a real doctor. My guess is you lack stomach acid to break down food, pretty common in adults. Try Apple cider vinegar or drink kombucha. That is you don’t have other issues like ulcers. But don’t just listen to people on KZbin. Seek real medical advice
