How to Connect Any Bluetooth Headphones to a Lenovo Computer Or Laptop

My laptop did not connect right away. I discovered that my BT headphones automatically connected to my nearby phone. I disconnected, the headphones went into pairing mode, found my laptop and wahlah! they work! Thanks so much.

I got my Bose BT paired to the Lenovo - but Lenovo is still out put to the internal speakers. How to tell Lenovo to shut off internal speakers and out put to the BT device?

You can chose which speakers you would like to use in the settings. It's probably set on the internal speakers and you need to change it to the Bluetooth speakers.

@@EggheadFixers sadly, it doesn't change anything. I've changed the output from speaker to my headset brand but the sound still come from speaker instead of my headset. Honestly, this is the reason why i look for the video in the first place 😥

I would also add, if your device is added to a phone or another device nearby, "forget" the headphones on your phone or other device, and it will release them to connect to your computer. This was my problem!

When I click on devices, the progress bar just keeps running. Over 20 minutes, and no devices show. What am I doing wrong? This is the initial set-up for my Onn earphones. I want to connect to my lenovo ideapad 110. Earphones case is open and blue light on, not blinking.

Scroll down and locate Bluetooth. Select it and then click ‘Run the troubleshooter’. method 2 Go to Start menu, type Device Manager and open it up. Expand Bluetooth to see the listed drivers. Right-click your device driver and select ‘Update driver software’. Bluetooth Driver Update - Windows Device Manager Wait for it to complete. Reboot and try pairing again. method 3 Press Winkey + R to open Run. Type services.msc in the run search box. Once the Services window opens, locate every Bluetooth related service, double-click to open Properties and select Stop.

I’ve done exactly what you showed here with no success. I realize you can’t trouble shoot issues remotely. It’s just really frustrating dealing with IBM based systems. There’s always some driver or “unknown device” issue. Anyway thanks for this tutorial.
