Tony Spadafino we used a gen2 coyote into a 2008- then gen 2 control pack doesn’t talk to the body harness, so the ac can’t see the cyclinder head temp to tell it to come on, so it has to be wired separate- but pbh does have the gen 1 harness to make it work, and he said in his first video it is a gen1.

Gen1 is not bad- gen2 and 3 it gets a little more complicated, the control pack doesn’t talk to the body harness on gen 1’s because the connectors are diffrent, so like AC doesn’t want to work in gen2/3

Luther Smith we went with a 2017 F150 coyote because I got it for a great price and only had 14k miles on it- the gen 1 f150 are not the same as the gen 1 Mustang. gen 1 Mustang coyote is a better motor. Gen 2 f150 coyote is a better motor than the gen 1 mustang after switching to mustang timing(IMO)

I'm still a little confused about wiring. I think you said you were going to have to play with the fuse box plug. Does that mean you need to re-pin the harnesses, move fuses around, or replace them with the 11-14 coyote set up or is it all the same. Sorry if this is a stupid question. Thanks for the content

People scared to build a 3 valve engine those blocks are really good and make big numbers with ported heads and power adder. Mine made 600 wheel full bolt ones with a novi2200r stock block

The car already had the sauce. Just not as much sauce. Remember your history, this was the fastest Mustang ever built short of limited special models when it was released. In stock form it demolished every other standard V8 Mustang that came before it.

Ok, so basically you putting in the 5.0L engine. Between the V6 4.0 and V8 4.6 they are the common 3v engines from 2005-2009 for the S197 platform.
