Hi! Let me know below if you have any questions about anything in this tutorial, or if there is anything else you' want to learn about rigid body physics in blender!

Dunno if anyone cares but if you're stoned like me during the covid times then you can stream pretty much all of the new movies on InstaFlixxer. Have been binge watching with my gf for the last couple of months =)
@asajohnny81293 жыл бұрын
@Brycen Titus Yea, I have been using InstaFlixxer for months myself :D

@Brycen Titus definitely, I have been watching on InstaFlixxer for since december myself :D

I actually learned more about environmental lighting than physics.

13:44 -> Rigidbody: Bake to keyframes. All I needed.
@PotatoMcFry4 жыл бұрын
You said you pressed Alt-A to play, but I believe the default for play in 2.80 is the space bar and Alt-A default is deselect all. It might be helpful to note if you're using different key bindings.

Hey, yeah you are correct, I have the older 2.7x key bindings, that was my bad.

Hi, you made my day a bit easier :-) One Question: two ridgit bodies falling down, so I have a 'ridget body world' in the scene properties and baked. Now I hit the caculate button for motion paths in object properties for both(instancing 'NONE'). Now that I have the motion path generated I deleted the 'ridget body world'. Now the animation isn't working anymore. How to get the two ridgit bodies to work with the motion paths just build. I thought that they are automatically attached to their motion paths, to get finally rid of the simulation calculations !? Thanks in advance

Nice and clear, thx! I like to learn how to use the rigid body physics in a 2.8 Newtons Cradle.

Would you be willing to do a mantaflow tutorial that looks somewhat realistic?
@BlenderTutor4 жыл бұрын
Yeah definitely, anything specific you'd want to see?
@15ewolsey4 жыл бұрын
@@BlenderTutor Yes actually! I've been trying to do a clear glass with water being poured in from the top and doing an animation that looks realistic. Similar to the tutorial done by blender guru. But that is very outdated as it was done 6 years ago.

Hi I am trying similar thing. I wanted to create a random packed bed (cylinder filled with spheres). So I kept them floating in air and made all the spheres active and made the cylinder passive. But when I simualate it, some of the spheres intersect to some extent after all of them collide with each other. I wanted to know why this was happening and if there is a way to ensure that theres a minimum distance which we can maintain between two spheres so that they don't intersect

Ultimate tutorial Bro For Me I am a beginner I really like the baking the physics into a keyframe is it possible to make a fluid motion into a keyframe ?

This was fun,maybe next something related to rigid body constrains? ッ
@BlenderTutor4 жыл бұрын
Thanks! Yeah, that sounds cool, I'll do something with that in a future video!

My ridged bodys shake when they are colliding and the collider doesnt even stop them from going through each other. What can I do against this
@BlenderTutor3 жыл бұрын
Some things to check: make sure you apply scale with ctrl+A, and also make sure you are using “final” for the collision mesh under Collisions. Another thing that can help is lowering the collision margin under sensitivity to 0.001.
@fabianhofmann93563 жыл бұрын
@@BlenderTutor Still pretty shakey and the cracks in my cell fractured box (20cm x 20cm x 20cm) the cracks are getting pretty big with a margin of 0.001. But they dont touch each other anymore.

I'm making the objects in realistic proportions and cranking up the Steps per second and solver iteration in the Scene Properties but I'm still getting unrealistic physics reactions. Kind of a bummer.

Amm.... U can shift+r to copy the action, for EX. u di the first 3 bricks of ur tower then double the amount up and then double the both bricks and shift+r as much as u want to double the bricks😊👌

Whenever I start stacking the blocks, the entire thing explodes when I play the animation. I'm new can someone help me, please? Note: Bounce is off, I checked that first
@gamerzly72984 жыл бұрын
You probably overlapped one of the blocks oi the stack....Make sure to leave sufficient gap between each of the blocks
