The link on my website in the link of the video has info on the actual one I am doing. Mine was 44" wide before decreasing. I was doing a show sample. I used 12 balls total of Red Heart Boutique Midnight. It's a higher end yarn so you need more yarn as there is less yardage on the ball.

LONG AGO I made afghans and a stocking with this stitch. I'm talking 1980s. I learned this from my mother-in-law. I haven't crocheted for around 25 years. I just finished an afghan using this pattern. I started it on Friday and finished it on Sunday. Soooooo easy. I used 9 skeins of Zebra Stripe in the Red Heart Light and Lofty yarn. It worked up so well. Thank you for such an excellent tutorial. I love these video tutorials.
