I made my first tulle scrubby by following along, stopping your video at each step. It came out great! I was trying to make scrubbies with nylon netting and got very frustrated because I couldn't see where to put the stitches on other tutorials. Finally, I was able to follow along with your totally comprehensive and very visual tutorial. I agree that you may want to mention how much tulle it takes to make one side of the scrubby. Can't wait to see more of your videos! Thank you so much!

I love to make these scrubbies! I like the ones that have different colors in them. How do you crochet the last color on? I hope you don't mind if I make these for a group of people. Charity. One more thing I am having problems with, you need to make your background a little darker. Also, do you have a web sight? Thank you for being so patient with me! Karen L Tech 👼 ‼️

How much Tull does it take for one scrubbie?
@mikedoyle93765 жыл бұрын
@@carrie880 it will depend on how tight or loose you crochet. I use a tulle that's on a roll so I don't know how much it uses. Also I tend to crochet tight.

The tulle feels too rough on skin for daily use, but if you find a material with thicker, smooth threads (like in a loofah) it would be fine.
@yyonak3 жыл бұрын
You can also use 100% cotton yarn. I've made several cotton facial scrubbies and I really like them.
@marys.harriman58965 жыл бұрын
In my opinion, I would do a sc around instead of a slip stitch. That way the scrubby won't curl on the front.
@VM-1234 жыл бұрын
Creative Grandma does a slip stitch and 1 chain for each stitch. I really like that edging, it's my favorite!

Can I please ask what size hook you are using?
@TanglewithYarn4 жыл бұрын
I used a size J / 10 6.00 mm crochet hook in this tutorial. You can also use a larger crochet hook. I would just recommend not using a smaller crochet hook than a 6.00 mm crochet hook. I have also made this dish scrubby with a larger crochet hook size K / 6.50 mm.
@sherriatsavinh49954 жыл бұрын
Can you use a smaller hook? My largest is a 6
@TanglewithYarn4 жыл бұрын
I would recommend a larger hook, since this dish scrubby uses tulle that is 6 inches wide.

What Tule did you use?
@TanglewithYarn5 жыл бұрын
I purchased the tulle for this scrubby from Walmart. I also buy tulle online from Amazon and both work great for this dish scrubby. The tulle from Walmart is a little bit more abrasive, than the one from Amazon. The tulle I used for the orange scrubby was from Walmart and some of the other colors I show in the tutorial are from Amazon.

How many scrubbies can you make with one roll of tulle?
@TanglewithYarn4 жыл бұрын
From one spool you get about 3 single rounds, and if you are making a double sided dish scrubby, then you would get one complete dish scrubby and another single round if you crocheting with the entire width of the scrubby (with 6 inch wide strips). To make 2 double sided scrubbies with 6 inch wide strips then would need 2 spools of tulle, 3 scrubbies if they are not double sided or 1 complete double sided scrubby with one round left over to use as one of the sides for your second scrubby. With 2 spools you can make 3 double sided scrubbies using 6 inch wide strips.

Please go a little slower when you change stitches. I love making your scrubbies, but you go a little too fast when you first change the stitches.
