I just ran into your videos and you are quite possibly one of the most eloquent "self-betterment" KZbinrs out there. Keep it up my man - love your content

Hi Isaac, you explained this concept really well. Thanks for your work. Just some food for thought for anyone reading... Just through personal experience I have found that minimalism, if approached in the wrong way or in it's extreme, can make you lose your sentiment to most of everything in life and reduce your wonder and appreciation for it. You can become overly detached and dispassionate. Although it is great to adopt minimalism, I believe that one should sincerely devote their heart and attention to the things that are left over, with great care and reverence. Treat your body, your mind, and your surrounding space as your temple. Envision what the ideal role as a father, or husband, or friend would be, and embody that vision. Treat all that is left in your life as though it is special and sacred, so that over time, it will in fact come to feel special and sacred, and you will not lose your sentiment for it. Picture it as a torch that allows you to broaden or narrow the focus of its lens. A broad focus will produce a weak and diluted light. While a narrow focus produces a sharp beam of light that is strong and potent. So minimalism is a great tool that accommodates potency in your life. However, do not lose sight of it's purpose. Do not dwell on the elimination of those many aspects of your life, as you would then be staring at the surrounding darkness of your torch's beam. Be vigilant to bring your awareness to what is left in the light, and give it your heart and your love.
