The more I watch these excellent videos, the more I appreciate John Moses Browning’s 1911 design.

Very well made, good lighting and shoot close enough to see details well. Very clearly instructed of details too.

That's a nice trick, using the grease to keep the spring in place.

On the 75B I find it easier to insert the pivot pin from the right side, first through the tiny spring, then through the firing pin block lifter. Then I take a small punch or slave pin and insert it through the sear and sear spring from the left side. Then, back out the slave pin while inserting the pivot pin from right to left. It's still aggravating but I have had decent luck this way. Hope this helps.

Hmm, hope there’re polishing and reassembly videos lurking in the wings! I am considering the Apex trigger & sear; hope they would come with quality replacement pins, springs and whatnot. Meanwhile, good photo quality and instruction, thanks. It threw me a little bit orienting to the sear cage, which I’m not yet familiar with. You worked from the ‘left side’, and I was wondering if it was upside-down, but finally figured (yes, I’m slow!) that it wad your left seen from 180°, oriented.

crap! I love working on my Glock so damn easy, I just purchased a Shadow 2 and was interested in learning how to disassemble in case I wanted to replace/modify something but shit it looks so complicated, I feel like I'd mess up even with the video.

It’s really not that difficult

How freaking worthless.... the one part I needed the most help with was getting the slide off the top after lining up notches
