Back in the 70’s thin eyebrows were in but over plucking them they never grew back then about 10 yrs ago I had my eyebrows tattoos best thing I ever did he actually gave me a wonderful arch where I never need to get an eye lift 🤣 your hubby’s eyebrow I was hysterical . My hubby too has been my Ginny pig lol being in cosmetology, I gave him a hair permanent dyed his hair blue black like Elvis Lolol 🌻🌻🌻

As a child of the 70’s I plucked my brows to death and they never grew back properly and got even more scant over time . I pencilled them in for years but was never really happy with the results and found it time consuming . When I reached my 50’s my eyes began to deteriorate to the extent I need glasses for reading , needlework etc. Try pencilling in brows when wearing glasses 🤓 🤣. I got my brows microbladed and it was the best decision I ever made , I had it done 3 years ago and apart from some minor fading they are still going strong . I enhance them with powder and it gives them a lovely silky finish that looks very natural . Be sure to choose your technician wisely , I stalked mine for six months before making a final decision 🤣

This was so helpful in so many ways. You have the most gorgeous brows! I, too, use Grande Brow. It worked for me. My brows got thicker and darker - which is great since I am in the middle of gray transition with my hair. I use less eyebrow makeup, but do use your clear eyebrow gel with that great brush!

Nikol, I love the stencils and all tips…I want to start doing my brows, but I just don’t know what color to use!!! My hair is grey but, what’s left of my eyebrows, are a medium/dark brown (with no grey hair). If I try to match the color I think it will be way too dark and harsh looking. Also, I wear glasses and the top of my glasses covers my eyebrows! I just don’t know what to do!!!

Thank you, Nikol! How did you know Ive been ready to throw in the towel on my brows? Besides not being as full as they used to be, I’ve noticed some hairs getting “wonky” They don’t lie flat, stick straight out and I’ve yet to find a gel that will keep them in order. Even tried mustache wax!! If I trim them - it’s worse. So, I have let a few get really long then “spoolie “ them down with gel and pray I don’t poke somebody’s eye out ;)

Great video on this area I’ve mostly ignored. If I brush my eyebrows up, they are really long. I have been doing the blunt cut when they get unruly but admit it makes the brow somewhat sparse afterward. Yikes, going to have to rethink what I’m doing. The Brow Fix has been a great product to cover the grays and keep the unruly hairs in place.

Great video Nikol, I’m one of Those who over tweezed her brows back in the 70’s Lol 😂, but now they just don’t grow that much and for me to have thick brows like you have they just don’t suit me, I’ve tried drawing them in to look like that and they just looked awful, I did have them tattooed back in 2011 and still have a little of the outline of having that done and I just follow the line to fill them in, I’d love to have them tattooed again because as I’ve gotten older those pesky little grey ones keep coming through but only on one eyebrow mostly, neither are the same shape but I guess as they keep saying they’re not twins but I quite like my brows to look the same when doing them, this was great, I must try and get some of those stencils, I did have some years ago but over the years have lost them. After being diagnosed with Hashimoto's Thyroiditis, then Stage 4 Papillary thyroid cancer with mers to the surrounding muscle, having a total thyroidectomy then radiation, I hardly have any brows. I am always looking for a better way to have a beautiful brow. With my Greek oily skin microblading just doesn't last. I haven't used a stencil for some time. Thank you for the refresher!

Hi Diane yes if you have oily skin Microblading is not for you. The pigment will not last and you will create scar tissue with microblading. You should try the brow tattoos that I got on Amazon I think you will be very surprised and thrilled with the result.

Are you still doing permanent makeup? I love your work and have seen some scary results. I shaped mine like that back in the 60s in modelling school. They are a bit thin now but I just dye them every 2-3 weeks. I’m always concerned about all that dark makeup smearing, so only use it for special occasions. Don’t want to do full makeup every day.

I lost my brows due to thyroid problems but I'm using a brow growth serum thingy and it's working. However, since I sleep on my belly and my head goes side to side, my eyebrows do not lie flat, they are sticking out. Is there anything I can do about that . I tried using sensitive paper tape over them at night but when I take it off in the morning, the hairs come off too 😐

I did electrolysis on my brows in my 30s (65 now) and they’ve thinned even more over the years. I’ve heard serum won’t work on those areas now since the follicles were “killed”. True? Plus, I have oily skin so pencils have a tendency to smear easily. Any of your products work well with oily skin? Thanks!!

Big problem for me is blond/gray hair that's on the WARM side. All the light waxes, pencils, etc. are TAUPE and much too gray. What do light headed women with warmth do? Browns are too dark, taupe too gray. Laura Mercier made a great creme/wax/gel but has since discontinued. I've tried every major creme - need that buildable base. Any suggestions ladies?

Hi Nikol, thanks for this very helpful video. I do have a question about correcting a bad eyebrow tattoo, I’d like to post pictures of what I have to deal with. But I can’t seem to figure that out. 🧐 In 2014 I had them done, they weren’t done well and one is not even in my natural brow line. I let them fade , as re-doing them seemed pointless. Now they are pink 🤯. So, my question is, can that be fixed? I just dyed them so they are not easy to see.

Thanks soooo much. I have no outer brows and sparse the rest of the brows. I also have a scar across my eyebrow when I had a bad fall on my face and this sort of cuts my eyebrow in half. Wish i had you to help me. I have the template so I will try that. My hair is about he same colour as yours but there are grey and dark hairs in my brows and my skin is fair and I am not sure what colour to use on my brows. I never pluck because the hairs don’t grow.

You should check if you have underactive thyroid, it is one of the first signs. I have it, so I know.
