This is precisely my issue. Sugar is the culprit and you are sooo spot on when you say we are addicted bc we aren’t eating what our bodies are really craving, REAL FOOD🙄! Luv your posts! So helpful!

I grew up being taught to put sugar on EVERYTHING…cereal, rice, fruit! 😩 Hence the reason I spent childhood and most of my adulthood obese. Our bodies just want real foods. My coworker used to say “food is just fuel” and she’s absolutely right! Thank you for the feedback on the videos! 💙

Just watched the entire video! I'm finishing Day 3 of no processed sugar. I'm 5'3 and weigh 146lbs at 44 years old. I need to lose about 15lbs because the scale keeps creeping up. Your videos have been helping me so much.

Congrats on 3 days of no processed sugar! You’re over the hump as I call it and should have considerably less cravings for it. Keep us posted on your progress and thank you so much for the feedback! 👊🏽

Not only is sugar itself high in calories, but it makes me even hungrier and crazier when I have it! (You are so onto something with the bananas - I finally gave up on having smoothies because of the way it makes my body feel even though all the fitness influencers always mention it in their "what I eat" videos.) Would love some advice on how to deal with having to watch family members that are NOT on the same journey have their daily desserts after dinner. Amazing work!!

Hi Ursula, Thank you again for this very informative video and sharing your experiences. I struggle with sugar addiction here and ever since I hit 40, my sugar cravings have hidden all-time high and it has been a severe struggle to lose the weight. I do believe that my sugar intake is the key to losing weight. I have been tested for diabetes and I praise God that that is always been negative. But sugar is pro inflammatory and it can cause also of illnesses that are due to inflammation. My question for you is: would you please share how you managed some of the withdrawal symptoms you experienced from cutting out process sugar from your life?

I just remember having to fight through the hunger signals the first few days. The voice in my head got louder and louder and I had to tell myself no a lot. It seemed to subside by the third or fourth day. I was really focused on not failing the challenge and so the “motivation” and momentum from starting the challenge and successfully finishing each day really kept me focused.

Hi . Love your testimony . Can you please explain the 75 hard challenge
@ursgetsfit2 ай бұрын
Thanks! It’s a mental toughness challenge, designed to build discipline and requires you to complete a series of hard tasks daily for 75 days. If you fail to complete a task you start over at day 1. Tasks include 2 workouts a day (one has to be outdoors), drinking a gallon of water, following a diet with no alcohol or cheat meals, reading 10 pages of a nonfiction book and taking a daily progress photo.
