11:26 - That's the way it should be. Dating applications, while convenient in some instances, isn't always easy to succeed with. Many profiles are spam or the matches you find don't always generate any commonality with the two people. It's best to find someone within your circle of friends or through a contact. If you're active in hobbies or church, finding someone through that may be easier since there's a story or a shared common interest. Great video, Lisa!

The problem is that there are too many dating scams both in Russia and Ukraine. I tend to avoid dating apps,marriage agencies, and matchmakers in those countries. Not all Russian and Ukrainian are dating scammers, but the bad apples leave me with cold feet. For me, the best option is to move to Russia, learn the language, and at the same time find a local girlfriend.

I've been with my Russian wife for 18 years married for 12 of those. Two beautiful kids. She's my soul mate. We met in India (Goa) and we traveled across India together on an adventure, we got married in Antigua and had a blessing in a church in the UK (for my mum to be honest) and a blessing in a small wooden Orthodox chapel in St Petersburg (for her parents and grandparents parents). Those 18 years have flown by too quickly adventures from Hollywood to Bali and everywhere in between best days of my life, beautiful memories with me forever.

Lisa, it seems there are many opportunities there and I wish them all the best of luck. I'll be turning 50 next month, never married, no kids, I don't even have a pet. I've traveled around the world and now live a simple life in northern Arizona. I gave up trying to find "Happily Ever After" over a decade ago. It was interesting seeing all of those profiles though. You should try your luck with young Filipina women in the Philippines. You will be both shocked and amazed by how many are over there in their early 20's and 30's searching for a much more mature man in his 50's with lots of life experience like yourself. Wide age gaps are typical. Plus the majority of them speak English as well.

I had a Russian girlfriend once, now she is my Russian wife. She is a great wife, she just isn't very good at driving an automobile. :) I just bought her an new Audi, but she isn't allowed to drive it until she can drive better, so I drive it everywhere which I think she prefers anyway.

... 😂... Same here. Married to my Russian wife 25 years now. Teaching her how to drive wasn't easy. She had a hard time keeping the car centered in her lane, always weaving from side to side. I kept asking her why she couldn't simply hold the steering wheel straight. It took lots of practice and well over a couple of years of me riding with her before I finally felt confident enough to let her drive on her own. In the first 10 years of her driving without me, she only had just 2 minor fender-benders which I had to end up paying for. Her driving did improve, but she always used to say how much she hated driving and loved Russia's public transportation, and after experiencing Moscow's Public transportation, I must admit, she's got a point. Cities like Moscow where she's from have very well designed transportation and are extremely cost efficient methods to get around anywhere in the city without the added expense that car owners face, plus the headache of sitting in traffic and finding a place to park everywhere you go. You have a lot more freedom by not owning a car in Russian cities.

There are definitely lots of fraudsters and golddiggers, however, sieving out of them it would get plenty pros. What you say about social activities is true! I am interested in artistic painting and if you go to an exhibition or gallery it is a good way to find girls with the same interest. Courses in painting is also good, has been going to courses in painting for nine years and have made a lot of friends!
