100. If people only realise there is no right and wrong in the truth. If the truth upsets you then that's your problem not theirs. You deal with it. And you move on in wich ever direction you choose. But playing games or even lil lies create a completely false reality. You build off the lies. It's probly the most disrespectful act a human can do to another. @frankovera75534 жыл бұрын
What makes it blurry, your gut feeling or your wishful thinking? Wishful thinking is only a hope not affected by the situation. But you gut is a direct consequence of the events in real time. Wishful thinking is not a way to judge but in cases you want to try everything before you end the relationship. But the gut feeling is a real indicator. A wish is the desire for happiness, we all have that desire, but it's not a indication.
@1chienandalou4 жыл бұрын
For several months they are going to be blurry. It’s how our brains work. You need to spend time for the dopamine rush and oxytocin buildup business (even if you don’t have sex, cuddling, falling in love etc can still have it going on) to settle. And go through experiences with someone as well. In the meantime, don’t make major decisions and make all decisions rationally. (BTW, I have had a lot of male friends through my life and in my experience, this is how they operate, and also give advice to each other, including me. HTH)

Thankyou so much. I’ve been looking at this all wrong. I tried this game bullshit and it just confused me. I am a genuine guy who has spent a majority of his life in relationships. The past 5 months I have dug so deep and focussed on myself, physically/mentally/spirituality and come so far. Recently the universe gave me a massive test and brought a girl into my life which has been a struggle, even though I know the struggles we all internal. I have tried all these game methods and felt like crap doing them, always wanting to see a result, wondering if it’s working etc and losing myself into the vortex of overthinking every move I made. It’s not me. I just messaged her asking her about some things, if it scares her away at least I can rest easy knowing that she could not handle me and my deep ness. Thankyou so much Much love from New Zealand 🇳🇿

Oh yes indeed. My gut has been telling me something about this guy ever since I’ve started dating him. I’ll be having a chat soon with him. I’m disappointed that he didn’t want to continue what he appeared to be. My gut told me all along that something was off therefore not allowing me to get a real connection with him. I believe a lot of it was game on his part. I was totally real maybe that’s why I could feel his faking so clearly. I believe he saw me as such a challenge that’s all. Sadly I feel hardly anything for him anymore. What little I was starting to feel has faded I’m afraid. I’m so glad I was straight with him it has been indeed powerful and strengthening. He’s still just texting and sadly I don’t even want him to do that anymore. I don’t wanna hear from him at all. I’m gonna have to talk to him soon. Besides that my guy I fell off with earlier this year has been trying hard to get my attention. I finally sent him a smiley face. He was immediately in my dm chatting and yes I’m happy about it. He’s always been great at that and calling me without hesitation. He knew my love language lol. I’ve missed him and believe he’s missed me. I believe our main issue was our huge age difference. Its time we talked about the elephant in the room. We’ll see how it goes. 😊

Kesha Powell if I think back to to guy that gave me restless nights and no relationship investmestment, as he was mostly unavailable, it was simply and only sex that was the incredible and only thing, like you iv had better too. He knew my weakness. I prayed so hard to get him out of my system to become real again. I was his fantasy when he needed a diversion from his routine only. But clearly we spoke about our blue prints, and our blue prints were different from each other. I have learnt to get to know a person better with serious conversations about many things and about relationships before becoming sexually involved. Because we women, once we are sexually involved, we don't see thing from a focus than when we have not yet slept with a man. The th I g is when we sleep with a man, we take in their spirit. We actually do as receive them into our bodies. And that changes our focus a bit and makes us attached and serving to our men. The reason for this is that God made women like this. But in a modern relationship where marriage may not be at its core in a new relationship, it gets conflicting especially if the man has no interest in investing in it. Have you ever noticed how you may have gone into a relationship for sex only but you got hooked. Because as women we take in their spirit during intimacy. We need to stay focused for a while and not have sex until we are satisfied with a lot that we find out about the man. And no games. Games are harmful. Truth will always manifest in the end and the gamer gets busted or have destroyed so much through manipulation tactics. His tactics will invariably be exhausted. Wishing you a great journey as you trust your instincts and not shove them aside to accommodate someone else.

"Slipped" into a situationship with an old friend for whom I had limerence - when I least expected it. Worst decision of my adult life. He clearly pursued me as a "target". I trusted him, went with the motions with rose coloured glasses, I gave him my all - my vital life energy, time, undiluted attention, heart, body and soul. I "fell in love" and got so invested thinking we were on the same page all along because he made exceptions and confessions and love bombed for the longest time and his actions led me to believe with surety that he feels just the same. I kept falling deeper into his vortex until I got consumed and surrendered my power. He had me completely wrapped around his finger. Then, when I told him I love him - he threw a hissy fit over a silly situation that he created only so he could push my limits, made me confront him, and use that as collateral against me for making him "step back" so he could "protect me and our friendship". He kept stringing me on this juncture onwards by never giving me an out, nor a communication channel or benefit of the doubt. He clearly cut the cord and didn't think it necessary to even let me know! There was no apology, accountability, no clear explanation, absolutely nothing that showed he wanted to save what we had despite me offering so many chances to mend and move on. This whole experience has been so confusing, bizarre and draining with a lot of crazy highs and lows, but I now think it was necessary for my growth and learning. I have decided to go 100% no contact with him for life because his toxicity, dominance, disrespect and lack of participation or investment - the games, manipulation, deceit, the betrayal, the shame and hurt are unforgivable and have all scarred me. I have to say that my gut recognised a million red flags since he reconnected. A million red flags that I recognised but chose to dishonour as wayfinding signals from the universe in the lure of chasing The Dream, as you say. This emotional damage also extended itself as physiological pain in the form of sharp heart chakra pressure and shallow breath. I'm learning to heal and calm myself. Eventually, I ended up manifesting the break up for my own good because that was always the universe's plan - to make me see the light. I'm grateful. Thank you so much for your all work Susan, you have been so vital in helping me navigate this❤️

But the feeling won't escape me. I have never felt something like this before. When I try to forget him, I see him somewhere, or he sees me. Maybe he gets these messages from people that tell him to let her come running back to him. In his eyes I could always see a sadness that he wasn't happy in his life, possibly his marriage and I felt like he understood how unhappy I am in my marriage looking in my eyes. There's never been a connection with anyone like that in all my relationships. It's changed me and he doesn't even know some of the most hurtful things that have happened to me recently . Are we just on different wave lengths where we aren't coming together. I won't pursue him cuz I will never know if he loves me. I avoided someone I really really liked in the past because of fear. My solar plexus clenched up because I was unprepared for a conversation. It was an awful feeling but it was definitely because of a lack of confidence and not lack of feeling that created that

I had to write because there is some my bad information especially with dating. Some will have you try hot and cold and some punishing the partner with games. Its soo confusing but with the gut and some body language it makes a great barometer. Thank you for a real video!

My friend of whom just recently admitted to liking me for more than a friend and that he hasn't wanted anyone else (I admitted I liked him too by the way) has started to pull back after that. It seems to be kind of a pattern. When we start expressing emotions he appears afraid. I'm not afraid though but I'm giving him his space for a bit but I will no longer take it personal as I did in the past. After 3 plus years, I know there is some truth in what he said and in what I feel. Actually my gut told me how he felt a long time ago. Our 20 plus age difference is the problem I think.

Thank you Susan again for your wisdom. May be you can make another video related to my confusion. I have an american man in my life for about a year. I know, i see, i belive, he told me that he is attracted to me, he cares deeply about me, and he is passion about us. Whatever we have, he never experienced with anybody before, but he doesn't commit. Last Sunday I initiated a conversation and he stated that he is NOT ready. What does it mean? Im confused. When i tryed to say goodbye to "us" he hugged me so tight as never before; he even picked me from the floor and hold me in his arms for 5, 10 min or even longer...it was a long moment and it was very special. He was not letting me go... I know we have something very special, but what can hold him from commitment? Hint, he was never married before and he didn't have a long term relationship. Is he scared? He is letting me go to date other people, but he doesnt really want me to do that. He asked me to stay connected, be friends and continue to hang out. What does it all mean? I'm so new to dating after 25 y of marriage and im from Ukraine 17 y ago. I'm lost and confused. Do other people experience the same? What is your experience, wisdom saying about situation like mine?

Yes Yes! Very well articulated, thank you Susan. I have actually felt this deepening connection and trust with my instincts recently and was just discussing it yesterday when you posted this video, so very synchronistic. It is very empowering....it has driven me nuts to feel things are off and be met with dismissal and denial when I address it but I think when you deepen your confidence in what you know inside it doesn't matter what games another is trying to play, it will unravel. My instincts were put to the test during a crazy wild fire event and served me very well in navigating through that crazy, destructive situation. Following your gut can save your life.

how do you differentiate your gut feeling, when you are the kind of person who doubts everything?
@JuicyFruityify4 жыл бұрын
Never forget the first time I really heard my intuition. A girl I'd been dating for around a year, one day suddenly decided to behave like we had never been dating, she was just suddenly, indifferent. I approached her with the intention of asking 'why?'. When I moved closer to her, my body, indeed my whole being just felt like I had to get away. It was just a feeling of 'run!'. It was so peculiar but I listened to that feeling and immediately walked in the opposite direction. A sensation of pure elation washed over me after that. Of course her doing that broke me. But after a ton of inner work, years, I can catalogue a hefty list of complete deal breakers that I was completely ignoring with her. (low self esteem, manipulative, withholds, emotionally avoidant, non-communicative, devious, a taker not a giver.) My conscious mind was swept away in the 'beautiful girl loves me' thing but my unconscious mind was keeping check and let me know in no uncertain terms to run! Have you ever had a similar experience?✨

JuicyFruityify you were just an option to her and a better one had come along. Women habitually keep as many as they can in orbit and pick the one who best serves their purposes. To women it’s the offer on the table that matters the most NOT the person

What If your ex confides in new friends about your relationship which ultimately affects your relationship and you find out later? It's only been this last year, I've gained enough confidence, power, security and really self-love to stop playing games. I wasn't even aware of the games that I played until I stopped. It wasn't a conscious manipulating, so much as it was a deeply ingrained pattern. My alter-ego would come in on automatic and take over and be manipulative and game playing and it was only because of fear, pure fear. I felt that this alter-ego would protect me from my own pain. Again, this was very subtle and not apparent to others, or even myself, until recently. It was to keep real intimacy at bay because that felt too scary

I will add to the excellent 'gut' advice, lol. You also NEED...self-esteem set at a high level, as that crucial element will see you 'act' upon your feelings (rather than end up mugged off / abused or even ruined! ) On another thread i mentioned meeting a BPD 'waif' i.e. covert, not raging. So you will get withdrawal / silent treatment once they feel they are getting too close. Now, i am experienced enough to be well aware of the general personality type, but this version was my first, and what an experience! Once I started acting upon my gut things fell apart pretty quickly. Most bizarre were her attempts to keep me engaged while keeping me at distance. Clearly our connection was still good but seeing me caused a load of issues. i.e. Very likely compromising who she was next teeing up, lol. Her ability to swerve direct questions was almost fascinating and two agreed meetings (really for me to call her on her BS) were cancelled. Instead, i did that over a number of texts. After 5 days silent treatment she called in to say she had seen a doctor for depression but had to run into work and we could talk later. Just incredible how far she wanted to manipulate to see how well I was prepared to 'play in the sandbox'. Ultimately, she turned into one of the most insidious game-players I know. Bearing in mind the face she initially brings is shy, lacking in self -worth ...only to slowly transform into something preternaturally manipulative / extremely ruthless over her needs - she just cannot talk on any level that exposes her BS. I wish her well, lol. SMH.

Beej J There are people who don't game play, and don't try to take power. I had a 26 year marriage and we were open and honest with each other. It was a glorious feeling. Sadly, he passed away, but I am hopeful that he was not a one of a kind. He (we) was/were so mature for his/our age. We met at 19 and had an adult relationship from the beginning. No games. It can be done. ❤️❤️

Jen - Bless you. You were incredibly fortunate! : ) I just see the human race has never been more afflicted by entitlement through to downright psychopathy. You truly need to do your 'due diligence' (and be v.aware these days) as the masks many people come with can stay there for months before the big reveal. I say, know their background, who their friends are and watch for the red flags - they will always be there fairly early on. I don't say this as thinking i am perfect at all, just saying I know i can be loyal and am at the very least empathetic to respecting a person over a break up. x
@gabrielmaximus64475 жыл бұрын
I did not know that was a sign of BPD ignoring direct questions, I've known two guys like this and then lies that get brushed under the rug by them as meaningless and get offended/angry when they get called out. Whilst I do/did avoid meeting people because of my PTSD when I was finally ready with someone who agreed to wait right in the beginning suddenly games started and ignoring every problem I have and seeing it as me being defient and controlling than fear from PTSD. I constantly come across men that instead of validating PTSD think it's some political decision I made to get back at men 😐
