How to Fix Braking Power Low on a Toyota Highlander

My neighbor had a jumper and offered to try as it appeared battery was acting up, it was over 3 years old. My Highlander immediately turned on with jumper and all ok now. I bought a new battery and installed. Also bought a jumper and will keep in car for future use

I own a 2019 Higlander XLE AWD with the start/stop "feature". It had this malfunction at 65k miles and was traced to a faulty vacuum pump. The vacuum pump is sold only by Toyota. They charged my repair shop more than $1500. If I had any idea what it cost and that it would fail in 65k miles, I would have avoided this model.
