Great work Brice! Fellow PDR tech here. I am glad you mentioned failures. Part of the game if you are pushing the envelope of what can be done with PDR. Usually I save that first good without any of this,just propane torch and something to cool it off before tapping.

With all due respect, a propane torch isn’t going to shrink metal without first damaging the outer paint coat. You need isolated high heat to the back side to get the metal to glowing red temp without burning the paint. That’s exactly how these machines work.

Great video how can you do a similar repair if the brace underneath is is where the dent is and does the pain get damaged with the heat

Hey Brice curious as to what setting on the pdr box you start out your repairs with. Aluminum and steel. Picked one of these up after our conversation at mte this year!Thanks for the advice.

Do I have to disconnect the car battery when using a power pdr machine? Are there any side effects when using the battery without removing it? Is there no side effect even if I use it in Tesla electric cars?

Definitely time to move into a bigger vehicle, just can’t fit anymore on mine as is. With my son getting into it too now we are out o& room. Lol Does the Cam auto one work as well as the original PDR BOX.? Thanks for the content.

Hey, Tommy! I personally don’t use the camauto box but I’ve heard great things about it. One being a trigger aspect, which everybody seems to love.

Ok definitely not paint less cause you literally have to grind off paint on the inside pdr requires zero paint removal
