Awesome tip! I need this one badly as I am over the top and steep! Thanks Dan!

This is really where golf instruction is headed. Very leading edge. Perhaps utilizing a graphic package for videos would visually clarify some of these new concepts and terminology.

I have been having real issues with my chipping over the last few seasons. Nothing seemed to work - or when I thought I found something - it did not continue to work. The other day I stumbled across this very movement - more by trial and error - and it really turned my chipping around. Perhaps because chipping is such a short swing - it could be a great place to start.

Great stuff- getting a conceptual idea of where to direct energy -“line of action” is eye opener. All the twisting and manipulation I’ve been trying is probably well intended but only disrupting the flow and direction?

Yes sir! The delivery of the swing really takes very little effort. When the swing is functioning efficiently there is no restriction to the movement!

Not sure what you mean by parallel to your line of action. Thanks
@danmartingolf4 жыл бұрын
Imagine a line from your thorax to the ball at the top of your swing - that's the true line of action. To get the club to ultimately deliver on that line on a good path, you need to imagine a second line - exactly parallel to that line that is about an arms length directly behind you (trail side of body). Off the top of the swing, rotational energy needs to be directed there instead of at the ball - then you have a chance to have an "on plane" delivery. Thanks for watching the video!

@@danmartingolf Thank you so much for responding to my question. It makes sense to me now.

@@danmartingolf Still having trouble trying to see the line's location ;-) Do you mean it is behind your heels?
@gzman13 жыл бұрын
ok so thorax to ball, and then an arms length parallel behind sooo, like, is that the 430 on the clock movement attack on the ball? maybe add a digital line to the video or is there another video that shows it better, this looks promising

Hi Dan. I really like this video and have been working on it. I have stop slicing or for me more of a fade. But now from time to time I pull my shots left or pull draw. Any suggestions to stop this.

Terry, watch this video - kzbin.info/www/bejne/f4mZnKNqiN1rsMU It should help you understand why your club path is outside in. It's likely your attention during the motion. Also, I know you own a PRO, if you swing the club like you swing the PRO (assuming you are swinging it correctly) you will not have a fade or pull biased swing. Please post a video on CoachNow of your PRO swing and your golf swing from a down the line angle so I can take a look and recommend some exercises to help you with this!

Ok I will send you videos as soon as I can. Thank you.
