I can relate! I could eat anything I wanted and as much as I wanted, until I turned 55 years old. I also got all the flak you're getting! But I wish I was still skinny! I had way more energy back then! Now, I'm 45 lbs. over what is norm. UGH!

I am healthy, skinny, but healthy. I’ve been asked if i am anorexic so many times (and I know it’s just jealousy) but I’ve actually convinced myself that I have a problem. I want to stop being called a skeleton. It’s sad that we have to worry about this if we are healthy but good luck anyways!

Good tips!! I always use Oats, Whey Protein, Bananas, Almond Butter and Ensure to gain weight. Just blend it all and there you have a 1000 Calories smoothie. I lost weight because Covid and it feels bad :( jist trying to gain 10 pounds for now. Good luck to everyone!

Exactly. I lost weight after i got covid, like 12 kg cs i was kept on vomiting whatever i eat and my stomach was empty for 3 weeks straight. From 53kg now I’m 40kg. Kept on trying to gain again but i was losing hope to do so. Now i’m here and gonna try this. Hope it works for me :)

If you’re over 18, (or under it just depends on you) WORKOUT! As you get older your stomach metabolism slows down (which means more food goes to your stomach fat) and your stomach gets big if but nothing else. Working out can help distribute the weight to areas you want. You don’t have to do any hardcore workouts just stay consistent to a few! (I’m under eighteen but and this is mostly for 20-30 yr olds but it still helped me a lot to gain weight in better places)

@@falz97 you don’t need fat, just calories and protein. I’m 108 pounds and have been slacking since my last baby but I just started back at the gym and I’ve done it before while being thin. I also do intermittent fasting and eat absolutely no sugar so I have zero fat but I’m still taking in the right nutrition and that’s what matters

Meats like pork and beef are no longer part of my food routine. I only stick to chicken mean, fish, ( I avoided oily foods as much as I can, but temptations is waving at me😄). Rice is the most important food in my life (you know I am from Asia, where rice is the queen in evry meal) . I eat to much of it 3x a day!

You are perfect as you are, I mean it. As a mother of a 12 year old boy who is skinny and being a skinny 12 y/o myself, I know how you feel in this society. But remember your body is changing and likely you have a very high metabolism right now. Give yourself time. I don’t want to discourage you from trying to work on your goal but just remember to be happy with yourself where you are.

I lost weight as I finally gained 6 kg now I lost it after a severe panic attack..I am so depressed and I just want to give up.. as I am 41 kg’s.. I’m also a very picky eater and only eat when I am in the mood for or else I get nauseous and gag to vomit, I did live with anorexia when I was 5 till 13 years old and since whenever I have stress I can’t eat.. i am as well allergic to fruits.. What if I am lactose intolerant and can't have dairy? I also can't eat most meats because I have trouble digesting them. I can eat fish, chicken or turkey but no red meats. I have COPD & asthma and weigh 86 lbs when I should weigh about 120. Because of the respiratory illness, I burn calories faster than I can eat them, and I can't eat large meals because when my stomach is full, I struggle to breathe.

Im 29, 5'6 height and 60 kg weight. I'm thin and lanky. One of my goals for myself is to gain weight. But it is really challenging because I have fatty liver history way back 2017. That thing really hinders my target of gaining weight. I havent done any updated check ups for 2 years. I am so desperate to gain weight but its hard for me to achieve it. I had your problem too and in three months o noticed the weight gain. I could never go over 140 ponds. With drinking smoothies almost every other day that contain banana peanut butter oats milk and yogurt, I’m now at 151 pounds and everyone says how the weight looks so good on me. Doing that and making sure to eat my three meals a day is keeping the weight on and I love it. I didn’t realize it but those ingredients in smoothies are fattening.

Hi Vidhi, here's one for vegetarians : Ingredients: 2 ripe bananas 1 cup almond milk (or any other plant-based milk) 1/2 cup Greek yogurt (or vegan yogurt for a dairy-free option) 2 tablespoons almond butter (or any other nut butter) 2 tablespoons chia seeds 1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup (optional, for sweetness) 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract 1/2 cup rolled oats 1 cup mixed frozen berries (strawberries, blueberries, raspberries) Instructions: Peel the bananas and break them into chunks. Place the bananas, almond milk, Greek yogurt, almond butter, chia seeds, honey or maple syrup (if using), vanilla extract, rolled oats, and frozen berries into a blender. Blend all the ingredients until smooth and creamy. If the smoothie is too thick, you can add more almond milk to achieve your desired consistency. Pour the smoothie into a glass and enjoy!
