What do you think about calisthenics and training for functional strength?
@Ben-Saunders6 ай бұрын
I think it’s very important, I started with home callisthenics workouts and I love doing and improving at callisthenics movements like muscle ups and front levers and want to start training it more. It’s amazing for functional strength and depending on your goal callisthenics is very good for functional strength

I have been wanting to do this all year but each year when the summer starts I never end up doing it… I know it’s never too late but I feel like I waste time thinking about all this and not doing it. Any words of wisdowm?
@Ben-Saunders5 ай бұрын
Just do it Bro that’s the simplest thing. Why does it have to be summer you should be doing this all year around just start now and don’t look back. Make it piss you off that you aren’t doing what you say you want to and that you aren’t staying true to your word. That should piss you off. Do 10 pushups now and search up the closest gym to you or even a home workout you can do today bro. Good luck and I’m rooting for you. Take action

How do you hit chest and back if you killed your arms the day before?
@Ben-Saunders6 ай бұрын
Arms recover quite quickly because I’ve been doing it a while so it’s never really been a problem for chest and back but also It’s usually my chest and back that will give out before my triceps and biceps will

How will you know if you gained strength if you don't know at which rep you're failing
@Ben-Saunders6 ай бұрын
By being able to lift more weight than last time, counting reps and tracking workouts. You don’t need to go to failure every single set
@emad41066 ай бұрын

@@Ben-Saunders but taking all sets to failure is fun tho
@Ben-Saunders6 ай бұрын
I agree it is but I like just taking one set per exercise to absolute failure with the help of a spotter

What about the chubby kids?
@Ben-Saunders6 ай бұрын
Obviously I don’t have the personal experience with that but I’ve got a lot of mates who started chubby and have cut down and got jacked. Start by just going to the gym and trying to get 10k steps in every day, this will go a long way, if you want abs start training then a few times in the gym and if you are just chubby then eat at maintenance (you can calculate this online by searching for a calorie calculator) and over time you will lose fat and get jacked but if you are quite overweight then decrease your calories so you cut down. At the end of the day it’s calories in versus calories out. Don’t oversimplify it do more exercise and eat less food

Ben, you've laid everything out perfectly 🙌 You improved your content, scripted out the video, and edited it very well. Just a suggestion: you can get more content ideas by focusing on people's "pain points" which are specific issues encountered by people while they're trying to do something / improve themselves. They are basically transitional aspects which once used to be hurdles faced by many, including thy self once upon a time. You can make advantage of these painpoints to comeup with content ideas related to bodybuilding, business, improving relationships with people, communication aspects and stuff like that. More likely, these pain points are kinda 'psychological setbacks' which occur when we are uncertain about the next right thing to do. I guess we all have experienced it while we are trying to do something new and stepping into uncharted territories in different aspects of life video was lit 🔥 NGL

Thank you so much for the valuable advice brother I’ll try to implement some of it and focus more on the pain points 🙏
