Thanks for the tips Florian. I tried using the zebra setting at one point but it kept distracting me lol. I just try to keep my eye on WB a lot to make sure its not swaying too much in either direction and keep it as close as possible to 0 while toggling SS/ISO. I liked your video and subscribed to your channel!

Hi, interesting video. It's confusing because a lot of people advocate overexposing in F log by a stop or two. I suppose each situation is different
@FlorianFrickel3 жыл бұрын
Hi mate. For sure each situation will be different and the subject you shoot will matter. As an example if you want to expose for you face as an example and got a bright background technically your meter will overexpose to give your face the right exposure. So yea definitely situation related. But on average I found the flog from Fuji alright to expose and never needed to over expose by two stops or so

@@FlorianFrickel I think I'm going to have to practice a fair bit with F Log. I'm fairly new to the XT4 and trying to the get the most cinematic footage I can out of it and also messing about with settings for shooting property. Thanks for the video
@FlorianFrickel3 жыл бұрын
@@dazzdeadmeadow to make exposure for f-log easier you can switch on f-log view assist you record f-log footage and need to colour grade it however the lcd will show you a duplicate of rec709 or exposure reference

@@FlorianFrickel Yeah, I have that setting on. For property stuff I will probably use a film simulation. I shoot (or try to) landscape and nature stuff, I'm just trying to get that looking as cinematic as possible. I think I might end up getting Filmconvert

So don't overexpose by 1 stop?
@FlorianFrickel4 ай бұрын
I found that the original f-log was best exposed correctly without over or under exposing.
