How-To: Installing Locking Tab Washer for Harley-Davidson Rear Wheel Sprocket / Pulley

I did a swap on my 95 , but used the sprocket for a 2012 the hub on my 95 was 1/4 smaller than the 2012 do to the 1 inch axle 1/8 clearance around my hub. I know the Hub helps keep it in comfrance but the bolts are what hold it from turning . Anyone have any thoughts on this , having a gap to no gap around the hub.

I ordered this chain conversion kit however I do believe I'll be leaving this tab washer out only for the simple fact that it looks like crap on such a nice new clean sprocket. Loc-tite hasn't failed me in a few decades so I don't anticipate it failing me anytime soon. Yes the added protection is soothing when you're trying to break the sound barrier, but I do believe we can come up with something just as effective but quite a bit more appealing.

That lock tab looks really odd on a black sprocket. I think I'll leave it in the package.
