My heart goes out for you, you have list so many family in dreadful disease. I lost my beloved father in cancer, lung cancer, after more than 8 years there is no day passes that I don't think about him. You are very courageous women and I pray for your well-being and your daughter. I hope God bless you and your family by giving you strength and patience throughout your ordeal. Your calm presentation was absolutely marvelous.

im sorry for all the pain that she went through.but i think its selfish of her briging another human being in to this world knowing what kind of life they will have.i dont care how positive she is.

We all have things we pass down; some are easier to see than others.. Addictive personalities, anxiety disorders, over-confidence, or even lack thereof. At what point do we draw the line for those who have "good enough" genes to recreate? My mom is a cancer survivor. If you asked her if she had known she was going to have cancer, and somehow she could have chosen not to have lived, I can already tell you what she would say.. Life is beatiful, even with cancer, as dark as that may sound. But that seems to be the lesson so many of these ted cancer stories are telling us.

Judging other people is bad for you. It's easy to make sweeping judgmental and frankly hurtful statements in this place but I wonder whether you would want to know if you were carrying this gene? We all carry inherited problems in our genes and may be passing them on, the only difference here is that they knew it was a 50-50 possibility.
