Any ideas of where this could be used? I have a feeling it is going to be one of those builds that will be useful when the time comes. Though it is a way to get into the sinkhole. if you find a glitch with those sideways climbing ropes, let me know. There HAS to be something there haha.

use it as a floating base

You could use it as an entrance. Put up some walls, use the basic walls as a roof, attach the climbing rope on top, then glitch through the roof and into your house.

adding some walls going down could look like realistic supports, or to have a floating room underneath in the middle of the bridge. I'd love to try that. you could also use this to make huge stairs if you place then over each other.

One of the first things I did when building was make a floating basic wall horizontal above us. Since you can still use the anchor points. We attached a rope to it and you can jump onto a horizontal magic rope

So just randomly I found out how to get infinite amount of modern arrows it is however the end game so be warned. Once game is finished you chose to stay and go to get the end game item in the cave in the snow biome, in the room before you open doors an pick up the item there are two yellow boxes you an hit open one has flares the other arrows if you then go into the room where end game item is and go all the way around the back of the room and back out the door you will find the boxes are closed u can then break em open an get the arrows again (every second time it will be empty) and you just repeat as many times as you like. ( I hope this makes sense)

OMG: After the update & seeing a Broadbent video, I have 2 words for you, Farket: Roller Coaster! You can find plans to be able to build it, in an underwater cave in the southeast bottom right corner of the map. Ya gotta use the rebreather & dive down to enter the cave & follow it to the end to find the blueprints. PLEASE make a video and build and experiment with weird 💩 on it!

Hi Farket, been watching your videos lately as im really into the forest and your voice (nooo im a hetero beeing). Anyway you seem to have alot of knowledge about the forest and singlehandingly created the wiki for it ! 😆 I play on PS4 and i have one achievement left for the platinum trophy ! Cut down a 1000 trees. There seems to be alot of confusion about this trophy and how to get it. Modern axe only ? Do explosives count ? Chainsaw ? Cut them all in one session ? If you have any insight about this achievement it would be greatly appreciated ! Thanks and cheers ! Edit: Ok i got it ! For co-op it has to be done in one session, as soon as you go back to the main menu, the counter resets for some reason. I did it in singleplayer in creativemode, what a stupid trophy !

Hey Farket, how do you build things that don't get destroyed? Because wherever I build, once day 7 rolls around the armsys just roll through my walls like a joke and destroy everything I've made. I'm talking without exploiting the water things. Just what kind of things generally won't get destroyed by them so easily that you can actually make a proper base without too much fear.

waterbase, houseboat, building on an island.. :) everything surrounded by a bigger body of water so the enemies would drown before reaching you is safest imho.

@@LIZZsing Yea but I'm talking building on the mainland itself. Because of course islands are safe, but they are generally a distance away from the center of the map, and thus, most caves.

@@darkrage1138 not silly, but difficult.. what the game, especially in specific modes, is supposed to be. for most of us forest-nerds its fairly easy tbh. you can build a base in a lake or in the river. thats safe and central-ish. close to the fertile lands would be a good idea for resources too [theforestmap.com/#-874.8,297.9]
